i think that you need some program to set this stuff up. it should be included in a package with teh audio driver, at least for me it did.

i beleive that you dont have a dvd burner. you have a combo drive which will burn cds and play dvds but wont burn dvds. if you can provide us with the model of your burner then that would help very much, otherwise there is nothing that we can rly do.

more voltage=more heat unless you have water or phase change and no one rly knows how long a chip will last, could be 100yrs and overclocking it will take 30yrs off of it..... but do we rly care? just like u said, 5 yrs, who cares? if you havnt upgraded your comp in 5yrs then either your poor or there is something wrong with you

im not familiar with this program but go up to speaker configuration and hopefully that will let you test certain channels, try to test the channels that are not working to see if u can hear anything

my guess is overheating. use speedfan or everest and try to figure out just how hot it is before you play and how hot is when it start to lag like that. you might have to invest in some better cooling.

try plugging it into another comp, if it still has problems then its the drive, if there are no problems then its something with ur comp. if it is the drive then you might have to replace it

well alot of companies like to sell "test" products to people at XS so that they can promote the product. they will get ppl all excited about a dual core cpu going 3ghz on air with 1.55v. then when it finally is released, a bunch of ppl will want it right away b/c they know what it can do.

well it says pci-x under its specs. some mobos have it but not alot

my 170 opteron is stable at 260x10 1.475v 1:1 3-4-3-8 ive been trying to get to 270x10 but i just cant, ive tried up to 1.58v and no luck. ill be trying to get it for a little while longer but i might be staying at 2600
