omg, sorry. i did see that page before and i guess that i read that 1st big paragraph and saw ultra ata and thats it. and you need to change the jumper to make it work for you.

how many fan slots are there in your case and how many fans do u have? i would always fill all of those fan slots. if you have 1 input and 1 output fan then go ahead, but i wouldnt game or do anything intensive untill you get more fans.

the only reason to get pc4000 is if you want to overclock, so if you dont then save money and get pc3200. and do not get the ballistix! there are many problems with them and crucial hasnt been able to fix them so they are going to discontinue their 2x1gig sticks.

well most almost all ppl say that 4gigs is just a waste and i agree. i bought 2x1 sticks so that if for some reason i ever need to upgrade to 4gigs, then i can. who knows what vista will bring, it could use a bunch of ram and you wont have enough for your games. but right now for XP 2 gigs is pretty much the max that you should have. but undeadsoldier has fedora core 4 so i have no clue how it is on that

well if you have an intel dual core then i have no clue what can fix the problem, but im sure there is a fix. the amd dual core fixes work and my dual core opteron is playing games just fun. i was really p***ed when i got need for speed most wanted and it would "lag". im thinking, i wasted 2000$ on a computer for it to lag! but then i found the fix and now im happy.

so how is ur computer running now? you have the parts back together?

the mainboard/motherboard does support sata, but the hard drive it uata, so it wont work

cases are made to blow from front to back, so do it that way. you should think about upgrading fans, you need more cfm or else you wont be blowing much air out. or switch around the fans in ur case.

well one way is to just feel, and the other is do you see how 1 side of the fan has a plastic bar across it and the other side doesnt? it will blow the air out of the side with the plastic. you want air coming in from the front and going out the back

well doesnt europe have different plug sockets? im not sure if it will work

he is switching servers b/c of all of the ppl, the current one cant handle it

1gig is the recommended to get, so go for it

haha, the downsides of nlite btw, check the even viewer for an error. hopefully you will see an error that something couldnt start

its gotta be the startforce drivers. try reinstalling you dvd drive drivers and see what happens.

not to offend you, but is it an original copy? if u dloaded it then the person who made it may have screwed something up.

there are a few games that wont work. one that i am p***ed about is splinter cell chaos theory.
