sure, go start by going into your bios and slightly raising the htt(fsb) up 5mhz, then run prime95 to see if its stable also lower ur ram divider to 5/6 if/when you do get prime errors and you want to go higher, then raise the vcore up to the next setting just make sure to watch ur temps

dont know, not too much. dont worry about it tho, way better than having to open your case and clean everything in there.

my case came with filters for the front 2 air vents, i need to clean them every 2 weeks b/c they are loaded with dust

i use the nvidia drivers since they are more up to date, the asus drivers just may have some extra stuff for ur vid card

if you dont want to wait for the fx60 then get an opteron 165 or better get 2 gigs of ram if you want to overclock then get a dfi nf4 board, otherwise get the asus a8n-sli premium i have this ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820146397 mines doing 3-4-4-8 260 2.6v if u put 2.7 into them then you can get 3-4-3-8 all the way up to 280

if its an althlon mp 1900 then that it right remember that 1900+ is only a ranking so that amd can compare their speeds to intel's

well everything is upgradable. 2gigs or ram is ideal. a dual core cpu would be nice but unnecessary for the time being. for the vid card a 7800gt like what i have is what you should be looking at.

well yes they are cooler but not always queiter. you need to have fans on the radiator, at least 2 120mm fans is recommended. plus you need airflow in your case or else you will get hot air built in the top of the case from hdd+cdrom and other stuff

post you 3DMARK05 scores, please include what video card you have and what it is currently clocked at i have an evga 7800gt overclocked to 485/1252 and temps are about 38/65 was originally 460/1100

just got FEAR today. and i would higly suggest gettin 2gigs of ram for this game!!! its using around 840mb! ive only played for 15min b/c its time for me to go to sleep now, but wow is it scary.... im gunna have some fun dreams...

i would be worrying about dust.... my fan filters already pick up a crap load, after 2 weeks of having my comp i checked them for the heck of it and they were loaded! vry easy removal tho so it doesnt bother me.

my exams started today at least i get half days of school all weak math is soo important for me, need to know alot when im doing in depth programing
