  1. I know I still need the patch, but I didnt know I had to add a vcahe section to system.ini and .cb. May I ask how I do that.
  2. Interesting News. When I reinstalled and did the setup / p i . I was able to boot into windows Me with no issue . EDIT: what should I do about drivers though.
  3. Good to know that there is a sata driver. The only thing giveing me issue is the cd so I'm going to try and do it through usb. http://www.911cd.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=16713 . Only issue is that I want ntfs instead of fat.
  4. The average user would not know how to downloads these though. It just shows that M$ doesnt really care about the user that much. (for kicks and giggles read this http://articles.latimes.com/2014/mar/04/business/la-fi-tn-1-10-americans-html-std-study-finds-20140304 )
  5. EDIT: Pic reposted http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/171498-need-microsoft-security-essentials-grab-it-now/?p=1075094
  6. PosReady might have something to do with it. I just went to filehippo. Downloaded the version they had. Went back to installing updates, and noticed there was an update for MSE and downloaded. (I use web updater) I never new there was a cutoff. I just got MSE to make M$ mad.
  7. I have version 4.5.216.0 on my machine.
  8. Lots of words my friend and I appreciate what you wrote. Seems like I will need a little adjusting to get used to it, but that wont be hard. I particularly quoted this part for it is so true. With windows 2000 I never tried it, and not really in the mode to try it anyway, but NT 4 I dont know what it is, but something about it is striking me. It might be the 6 and a half service packs, but there is something about it that just wants me to try it out.
  9. Yes, but after you download the version FileHippo has you can go to windows updater, and get the latest one.
  10. Good, for the only issue I have are the ones I described.
  11. It makes me so mad that both versions of windows 8 is more popular than vista . What are wrong with people.
  12. Well just more of a reason to get it on my second netbook.
  13. If this 3 letter agency happens to be the c** then you are doomed. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/9710121/Scientist-Frank-Olson-was-drugged-with-LSD-and-murdered-by-CIA.html , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_MKUltra . here's a fun little conspiracy video that involves the c** darkest secrets with the Polybius arcade.
  14. No moon here too see... cloudy night. (at least I could see the red glow where the moon would be)
  15. Joking aside in the US if you were caught you would be protected under the 5th amendment. http://goo.gl/bfV605 . Yet again it is not always the case. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Key_disclosure_law#United_States
  16. He can expect an order with in the next two weeks.
  17. That cant be that bad can it. (never lived in that time so I wouldn't know )
  18. Hats off to you, RLoew! It actually is a SATA-300 HDD (which must work at SATA150, because of the southbridge limitation)! Here's a detailed description of the dis- and re-assembly of an Acer Aspire One AOA150 having a 120 GB HDD (a SATA one, for sure). So... RLoew's SATA patch will be needed, besides (and, in fact, on top) od LLXX's modded ESDI_506.PDR. There's no avoiding it. Great . Where can I find this patch, and how much is it.
  19. Not many geeks on a computer forum .I find hard to believe .
  20. Well I am using windows Me so that shouldn't be an issue, though I use the 98se boot disk for the /s command. Not sure how relevant the 98se boot disk part is, but what ever.
  21. Ok for some reason I thought you meant there was one yesterday
  22. I'm going to do a reinstall with acpi removed (setup /p i) I'll post results here.
