  9. On the computer with the printer connected, go to "Printers and Faxes", right-click the printer and select "Sharing" and click "Share this printer". On the other computer, go to "Printers and Faxes" and then "Add a printer", then browse for the printer you just shared and click OK.

  12. Borrow someone else's PC, go to this site: http://www.lostpassword.com/windows-xp-2000-nt.htm and create a recovery CD. It will allow you to remove/amend any passwords.
  13. When you install XP you are asked to enter a password for the "Administrator" account. What did you type? Or did you leave it blank? Boot to "Safe Mode" (or press CTRL-ALT-DEL twice) and login as the Administrator and you can change the password for any other account.
  14. Sounds like a fairly good idea to me, not that I'm an expert. It's one less service on your server, of course. It depends how your users access the Internet, if they go through a Proxy on the server and it goes down, then they won't be able to - obviously.

  21. Microsoft do actually recommend 3rd Party tools for general AD admin, however you can create "bulk" user accounts using either the csvde or ldifde commands.

  23. Native/Mixed Mode refers to your Servers, not the Clients!
