    nLite v1.0 Final

Well, after my own personal experience tonight, I'm actually quite disappointed with nLite. I made two CDs tonight and both of them froze during the initial stage of setup when keyboard and mouse support are installed. It just totally freezes and my CD-ROM drive eject button doesn't even respond. I integrated my drivers the first time, and didn't at all the second time. Neither makes a difference. What was supposed to be a simple procedure turned into my worst nightmare. I dealt with this crap a year and a half ago and I can't believe I'm still dealing with it now after not having to format for nearly a year. Anyway, just letting you know it's pulling the same tricks as it used to, for me anyway. Part of me realizes how much I take my PC for granted, and another part of me was looking forward to playing HL2DM with PuntoMX tonight. I guess I can forget that. There's only so many times you can swap a HD between two PCs before you go totally insane and put your fist through something... like I did. Well, it was my desk and it didn't break... but the intention was there for about 5 solid seconds.
  2. Not at all. There are several reputable sites out there that host the hotfixes. The easiest way I think is to use AutoPatcher. New one every month, one download, select the ones you want, install, reboot, delete the leftovers. Just like WU but easier and NOT IE dependant.
  3. I think he was referring to my girlfriend doing the breast stroke... ahem, I need to sit down, wait... I already am. LOL Back on topic... I like cheese! lmao, who closed that thread? Beta Beta Beta! Me want beta! Great, I've reverted to n00b. It's Friday night and I'm utterly retarded.

    x64 totally broke.

You're probably too picky for your own good, or really ungrateful. I like RyanVM and I don't even know him. He makes a pack with all the WUs for direct and easy as pie integration and for free... then you p*** on it because of WGA, when there's easy ways to disable/prevent that... seems to me he has more reason to not like you than you him. Oh well. I'm sure he doesn't really care.
  5. Hey, no need to defend your avatar, I haven't updated mine in... well... I can't remember. I also haven't formatted in 7 months or more... but that's beside the point. Adobe Photoshop could make that logo look like a digital artifact, lol.
  6. You deserve to be banned without notice, perve. LOL, JKing.
  7. Your brain.

That happens a lot more often than most people realize.
  11. if you look closely, you will notice that amit_talkin's and T D's avatar are the same with only slight differences. That's interesting. Ignore this post.
  12. NinjaStyle, some people are always too quick to blame anything and/or everyone except themselves. By the way, I like your avatar.
  13. I hate cheese. Except for those square shaped processed slices that come in packages, and Kraft Dinner. Had that for lunch today. MMmm... nothin' wrong with KD. lol... This topic is weird.
  14. Sweet dreams. These days are very hopeful ones when it comes to nLite. I'm going to dream about going swimming in my in-laws' backyard pool and watching my girlfriend do the breast stroke.
  15. Nuhi, did you go after the registry entries for the Office Source Engine Service? I'm using a 3rd party program called serviwin.exe and it still shows the Office service. Whenever I use the attached program to remove Services, it gets all the reg keys. Cheers.
  16. @PS- Lol, those are the same as my old Dell speakers that I gave to my girlfriend because whenever I listen to music, I wear headphones. Small world, eh?
  17. So, disable WFP in nLite...
  18. nLite is a technological drug.
  19. As far as I know, just the Windows Image Acquisition Service. Even if you don't remove it, you can still disable it and have full functionality. I've tried it with MSN and Skype.
  20. For system tune up these are the best: CCleaner (Clean temp/cache/etc) (free) PerfectDisk (Superior defragmenter) (free for 30 days) JV16 PowerTools 2006 (Superior registry cleaner and much more) (trial)
  21. You should go to a computer appliance store and pick up a good router. The D-Link DI-604 and above are very popular. You should also install a software firewall (other than the Windows Firewall). I recommend Outpost Firewall. As for anti-virus, use either Kaspersky or NOD32. Scan all files after you download them and before you open them for the first time.
  22. Well, as for Kaspersky... that's really the best of the best. That and NOD32. They may not be free, but they are the best.
  23. Maybe he wants to cut out the other unnecessary Services besides his theme. Just search MSFN for Services, there's been several threads detailing them.
  24. Congratulations, Nuhi, on your hard work, dedication and striving motivation from both your success and forum fans who show their appreciation repeatedly. Now, let's strip the rest of the crap out and call it a day!
