hey all thought id post a small tutorial for those who dont know about this im gonna customize this screen to do so we'll need a small app some of you may have it its a trusty hex editor i use XVI32 Make a backup of this next file b4 modifying it so now that u have that, open it up & browse to x:\xpcd\i386\BOOTFIX.BIN go down to where it says "Press Any Key.. " on the right.. you can modify that, by typing in what you want it to say (look at my above pic for an example) Problem 1: ive found "Adding" extra characters beyond what microsoft has put there will make it quickly change past the text and goto booting from harddrive ive only briefly experimented with this, so if u find any problems post em!

some installers (inno setup for instance uses 3rd party tools like inno unpack which will allow u extract inno setups)

hey all, ive found this program Meedio its like windows media center edition, with ALOT of plugins/themes, anyways, i can install the initial app just fine using autoit (cuz of all the popup boxes for registration & such) anyways, i cant install the themes silently or plugins (they are .mpp) i can get them to launch and stuff but im not REALLY good with autoit, so i cant get the controlclick thing, maybe some1 can help me i need to launch program then click button "install" then wait til button "close" is there then click it can some1 help? button install = Tbutton3 Button close = Tbutton4 its the timing thing im having problems with

easiest way, open run type control userpasswords2 then check "users should enter a password ..."

i use a simple autoit script i made called "hideme" usage hideme <program/batch> if any1 wants it lemme know ill attach it

also dont use IE, as much as u probly heard it, opera (my choice) or firefox are much better, i have IE completly removed & i never get errors or anything
