  1. theme is set to "windows" do u mean like the "win2k" type look? if so that means your trying 2 use themes without having uxtheme.dll patched.. just do a google search for "uxtheme.dll multipatcher" 1 click & a restart & it should be golden if thats not what u mean reply back

  4. make sure when u make a Bootable disc ur specifiying a bootloader file (boot.img or another like file) so your cd is able to boot on startup http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/15/
  5. make sure your looking on your original xp cd, if u had used nlite or something else to customize your installation

    Nuhi, its been about 3 years since ive been around (really busy with work & stuff) but i just wanted to say im very impressed with the way nlite is going i remember when it was in its early alpha stages ill try to be around a bit more since im redoing my UACD
  7. ya, that & also some bios have a weird thing where u have 2 disable raid for it 2 detect SATA drives without installing drivers (my friends gigabyte mobo does this)

  10. @Halfwalker i didnt add the runtime files cuz most have them installed seperate, so its just a waste of space (almost 1MB) start menu shortcuts work ok 4 me

  14. remove them from the list, drag&drop folders there, click & hold the folders to move them around in the start menu

  19. using windows xp sp2 & 98se, ive redone my multiboot dvd, but i dunno whats wrong, 98se works good, but xp asks for files after entering the GUI part of setup (around 39min mark) "Windows XP Service Pack 2 CD" then it says "copy files from d:\i386" it should be "d:\setup\xp\pro\i386" SetupSourcePath = "\SETUP\XP\Pro\" anyways, the setupsourcepath is correct & ident files are in proper place, theres nothing else i need 2 edit is there (its been awhile since i made my 1st 1) looked @ flyakites guide & all is well im just racking my brain lol any help would be greatly appreciated
  20. type net user <username> <password> example: net user MCT msfn sets "MCT"'s password to "msfn" this works for 2k aswell as xp i believe
  21. well, the topic uve created has spawned ina bout 5 different sub forums on msfn, plz ask a mod 2 delete them as u will not get much help being a forum hog
