i was wondering, is putting this [GuiUnattended] OemSkipWelcome=1 in my .sif file same as a registry tweak? ie. if i use this, will it auto log on admin account every time i restart?

try this, try the nLite XP reduction Tool i just started using it, and it took my xp pro cd from about 470MB to 230MB what it does is gives u the option 2 remove unused components xp installs with, for me, i removed Windows Media player (cuz theirs a newer version out, seems silly 2 have 2 of the same things on 1 cd) services, defrag, and a bunch of other things i use a different defrag utility, so it also seemed silly 2 have 2 of the same program on my pc also, u could get a 900MB cd hope this helped

hey lone, are u by chance using something like "VmWare" or "Virtual PC" ? they will do that, because they have problems with your video card , 2 resolve this issue, install the "Windows.iso" file inside the vmware programs folder, if u arent using vmware/virtual pc, u could try updating drivers for your video card? hope this helps, good luck

are u sure u bought the correct kind of ram? does the motherboard support that much ram? try doing it with only 1 stick of ram in? good luck

i found another program that doesnt do that called regsnap, its a shareware program, but it generates a reg file that works

im looking to setup a unattended cd, and im trying 2 put all my tweaks into a reg file 2 things im inquiring on, 1) what is the reg code to go from 10MB to 2MB of temperary internet files, in internet options > settings 2) in System Information > advanced > performance > settings how do i turn these options into a reg tweak. Note: I only posted these as they are the only options in that section i have enabled rest are disabled (please include the others when posting your solution for me ) Use Common Tasks in folders Use Dropshadows for icon labels on the desktop Use Visual Styles on windows and buttons Greatly Appreciated
