you can slipstream the hotfix on the main package using the .msp. if the hotfix stops while installing be sure that you call the framework setup before (that was my error ). /q switch should be ok

slipstream KB885835, place KB885250 on svcpack\ folder and add to svcpack.inf KB885250.exe /q /n /norestart /oworks for me

@pra, no i've got on my D: drive a permanent copy of my xp cd. D:\BUXPCD (back up xp cd ) is the folder with my unattended. everyday when a new app. is out i just update my setup; when i'm having problems i download the latest nlite and shrink in order to fit on a 700mb cd, burn and reformat. i think this is the easier method. about what you posted yes, i've included a batch that "if exist" another batch file on my C: drive it will launch it. i think that is the idea of "uA CD plugin" lol

plus! will also include a new feature, something like "sound avatars". will let you share sounds up to 10sec. i usually patch the main .exe so i don't need of msg plus! but it has a couple of features like color tags and irc similar commands that i find really useful.

ok this is my list... my first impression is that it take a lot of time to load. toolbar icons and program icon are 256 color and they look crappy. i would suggest to go for a better looking interface. if you want to contact me i'll be glad to make them, just tell me what you need. when not on slideshow images are shown as real size and you can't totally view them because there isn't a bar at the bottom/right. i would like to choose between fit image (vertical, horizontal or both). i miss a configuration dialog from where you can add/remove extensions associated. what extensions? well i think with this would be enough... .bmp .bw .dcx .dib .emf .gif .iff .ilbm .jfif .jif .jpe .jpeg .jpg .kdc .lbm .pcd .pcx .pic .pix .png .psd .rgb .rgba .rle .sgi .tga .tif .tiff .wmf ... i know, i know on slideshow, shortcuts are a bit difficult to reach. Ctrl+P, Ctrl+N are easy to remember but a problem if you want to move over many images. i would suggest to go for "spacebar" and "back", "enter" to change between slideshow and default views, or better, a config menu to choose keys. finally i would also like to select (from the config dialog before) if start on slideshow mode or not (it will also be nice if you can add a tree view to select image files). that's all i think, if you can do it i'll stick to it without doubts

just run firefox.cmd AFTER everything got installed. not sure about this, is just to be picky. if it doesn't solve the problem, try to remove HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\.htm HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\.html and then run firefox.cmd again. sorry i would like to help more but it's the only thing i've got in mind at this moment.

@hfrfc, i think it has nothing to do with french because i use the spanish 1 lol so that is the problem. you execute the reg entries from the same runonce.cmd. just put all of those entries on firefox.cmd and call it from runonce, like... REG ADD %KEY%\020 /V 2 /D "%systemdrive%\install\firefox\firefox.cmd" /fthe way you do it, reg entries are added before firefox has been installed. probably your firefox custom installer corrupt them
