am i the only one that finds stupid that a great company like ahead couldn't take care of such a great bug? how many test can pass nero before going out to the public? and they didn't see the f***** program couldn't start maximized? you can't even launch the program maximized using command line switches the best program for cd-burning and they make us download a new version (35mb language included) after 21 days!! just amazing

@durex, i tried to create that shortcut but with my knowledge i wasn't able to locate it on start menu. if you look on %PROGRAMFILES%\Mozilla Firefox you'll find the shortcut . if you don't like it just delete it during unattended (del /f /q ...) and if not, just move it to start menu (move /y ...) about ie import wizard i'll never said anything, also i can't do anything. that part is covered with the profile section. if you don't want to launch it simply export your own profile

mine is 18000kb with only the main window opened (msg plus and 25% transparent). it's a great amount of memory only for keeping an IM online. great features but if final goes similar, then i'll search for an alternative like trillian (i personally hated trillian2).

install your games on d: as said, after formatting c:, some of the games will run without problem as they doesn't need registry keys. the others that can give you problems will need to be reinstalled over, so all the reg keys will be restored. you can also try to look for changes on your registry (with regshot f.e.) while installing the game so simply importing a .reg file would be enough. btw i haven't found 1 game that add files to your windows folder, but be careful as some of your saved games are stored on "my documents\my games" like halo or "%APPDATA%" like nfs:u/2 ps: i remember to read something on steampowered.com support about just moving the valve folder to other partition working without problems. search there

feature is called force feedback and you can enable it on most of the games options menu

you can try the FREE version of partition magic 8 for DOS. it will let you format a partition on differents NTFS versions. since partition magic was bought by symantec, you're going to have a headache searching for it so better look on "underground" sites.

@Sgt_Strider, about fax and picture viewer: for me this tweak works ok, when i try to open an image file the "open with..." window will appear to ask you. pict viewer always highlited by default but you can use the program you want to. i usually register image filetypes with other program to avoid it

@DL as you have said you just put a face to a name. why i used ximian logo? simple, i love ximian desktop, as you said you find something you feel happy with or manage to make your own. i don't agree with simply copying something and set it as yours so i decided to make something like a tribute. ximian is a linux suite so i thought mixing it with a windows look would gave the desired result. that's why i used longhorn-aero look, something like ironic. i'm so obsessed that i'm working on a custom gui-pack of ximian for windows. i won't fit in my character if i'm not using it. btw, there's another reason. have you watched starship troopers? i love the book that was based the movie and if you've watch the movie you'll now why an ape. so yes, i look at it and i see something "mine" so if you told me to i won't move over other thing, perhaps when tired, i'll accept the challenge and design something different. thanks for your words
