  1. X-TEQ X-Setup can customize that window. plz post feedback, interestd in it too
  2. i'm very proud of my t610
  3. @Nologic, that was my point but i've made sooo much changes on my profile that i preffer to leave it that way. f****, yes but customized btw, i just wanna tell all of you of a weak point i found on the way firefox manages passwords. it stores all your passwords encrypted on a file, signons.txt. from the preferences tab you can set a "master password" to hide all of them. the fact is that i created that password to protect my unattended installation and then forget it.. (i know, i know ). after i bit of digging, found that you can simply drag/drog signons.txt to another profile and it will work perfectly
  4. @indianarchie, wait more than an hour for replies that is so sci-fi... i wonder how many "underground" experiments were successful... @DigeratiPrime, how far are we from the star-trek world? maybe borgs are around the corner...
  5. @indianarchie, link is still up for me
  6. nice! it is funny; since they implemented ie, releases appear everyday lol
  7. @Astalavista, no problem on confusions, that's the way i learn ... still around there and my last post of this night (here) ... so there's no firefox extensions developer around here?! i still need a close button on every tab and a local extensions installer!!
  8. @snakesnake, about Graphics_Control_Panels.cmd, there's no problem on using %S%atiddc.dll and not %S%\atiddc.dll from a commandline file, check it for yourself, not sure about the other typos. @Bâshrat the Sneaky, you rule man. this pack will cover most of the driver needs by every unattender
  9. @Nologic, as i said, probably a problem of my profile or my spanish localization. @Astalavista, quicktabpreftoggle_0_0_4.xpi works perfect for me from the command line.
  10. win98se was a great OS, but is not going to be in deployment anymore. that means no longer updates (except the critical ones) will be released for it. meaning at the moment you can't install wmp10 and in a future... well we don't know... if you maintain your system updated using WU there won't be any problem on sticking to it, specially a 128mb machine. if you surf the inet, let me recommend you to use a software firewall and the firefox browser, that is the only weak point i can see. good luck ps: forgot to say welcome to the forum
  11. @Nologic, no luck this time. same weird error occurs. i'm starting to think there is something wrong on my default profile; the fact is that another user reported the same on the author's forum @Astalavista, that is not because crahak's method (... where is crahak? ...), that is because the extension is not compatible with the firefox built. i'm sure most of the non-working extenions are pre-firefox 1.0 final, or that is what i guess.
  12. @Dagonet', i love vector-art desktops @all, as requested here are a few links about my desktop. ... from where to start ... wallpaper: i've used leaf from the latest longhorn build. here are a few more that can match on wstaylor's site. shellstyle: longhorn inspiriat by stefanka or longhorn alternative are good choices. logon: leaf logon can match but there are many more; [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] bootscreens: some here, select the most suitable. avedesk: widget set by hyral icons: at last, the most important for me. a good set, another one and another. more and more: if you want to go further there are a lot of skins for yz'toolbar and wmp, firefox, desktopx... that's all. you got now all the resources, combine them as desired
  13. http://web14.compaq.com/falco/detail.asp?FAQnum=FAQ2859 OMG!!
  14. ****! thanks @Nologic!, this appears to be the same version and it doesn't work when using -install-global-extension. 2 things left... a close button on everytab and a working local_install extension. with this last, any1 is experiencing the issue "<!DOCTYPE window SYSTEM "chrome://local_install/locale/local_install.ent">"
  15. here, but soundcards are not present there.
  16. microsoft.com and intel.com??!! i suppose you got the latest drivers from m$ because you can use the device manager to find updated drivers from the web. from intel, just search on support & downloads.
  17. i guess it would work the same way. i used the variables just to be sure because i usually export the full path. feel free to post feedback and thanks, i'll have it in mind when replying similar problems [request] i would like to ask the community for help. i've been digging here and there for a couple of extensions. 1st) i would like to have a close button on everytab, tabbrowser preferences can do it but i was having a couple of issues the last time and i decided to remove it. 2nd) adblock extension can't be installed from the command line. any1 knows an updated version? (last is from sept 22th) 3rd) finally i found another interesting extension: "local-install". that add a button on extensions and themes windows to install .jar and .xpi from disk. it will be extremely helpful but it doesn't work with my firefox (1 of those weird chrome.rdf problems at the bottom of the window). thanks
  18. dolly post deja vu? please read the forum rules at my signature, specially the section about posting the same thing under multiple topics. as said extract the msi from the setup file using winrar and use the /qb switch. you did not read the msfn guide, did u? and finally, welcome to the forum

  20. i think i got it: http://www.imagemagick.org/ command-line examples # convert -font helvetica -fill white -pointsize 36 \ -draw 'text 10,50 "Floriade 2002, Canberra, Australia"' \ floriade.jpg comment.jpg
  21. i think it can be achieved with an autoit script. it can be a LOT of work but at T-12 (i'm not really sure) paint is already installed so you can launch an autoit script for every user. the script would open paint and the image launching key strokes. then it can write in the image and save it. this is just an idea and it can be really, really tricky. contact Nologic, i think he is good at this.
  22. @jfmartel, it appears that the .msi file you provided a link, only accept the silent switches when it isn't renamed as @Astalavista said me. he also told me that after a time using it, a QFA popup becomes annoying. i hate that f**** QFA agent so i'll stick to my custom setup and i recommend others to do the same. btw, nice find, let's hope mozilla org. can improve that msi installer.
  23. @Sgt_Strider, i didn't misunderstood you. i said, first, try your setup on your host machine and be sure it works. if it didn't work using the silent switch, then use the setup.iss method. btw... if driver is installed then the sfx extracts without the problem. i suppose you added the runonce entries to run the setup of CP... if not, how it is going to be installed? at the moment i'm a bit confused, you said you don't know how to pack the CP but you did it with drivers? so please be more concrete on next post and follow the instructions exactly how i pointed @Yzöwl, try it by yourself and see what happens
  24. wormhole (have you seen even horizont? lol) even horizont or sphere? ps: @DL, one of the theories by Stephen W. Hawking, let us understand that the universe at this moment is expanding but slowly than millions years ago after the big-bang. also we know that stellar bodies attrack themselves with a force so that let us understand that "someday" the universe will contract itself and in a LONG time a new big bang will come. i'm not a geek at physics (i'm at movies ), this is just a theory and it can't be explained with "common" words (also for me is difficult to describe it in english ).
  25. first expanding and in a long, long future, contraction our future: evolving to world peace or to R-I-P?
