bah! beaten to it by Xperties, but yes as he said there are many around for free download, in PHP, CGI, even Java. Its just a counter after all, you could probably make your own if you learn a little bit, its not hard. Or be lazy like the rest of us and check out hotscripts, http://www.brainjar.com etc... lots of places with that kind of thing (hotscripts is your best bet) PS: Do you play Desert Combat as well as 1942? if so.. message me sometime, i need more people to pick on with the apache

The Graphics on the game are amazing! tip: Right click on the shortcut to the game > properties, and alter the target field to: "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2.exe" -developerkeys -screenshot Now, start the game (using the shortcut) and press "page up" and "page down" to change Max's skin to ANY skin of ANY char in game. Including two naked Mona sax skins (one she has a gunshot wound to head) Press F3 to enable free camera.. use arrow keys and mouse to move camera around the map, or around your char for beter views and closeups. ive got some awesome screenies of bad guys using that, they are VERY detailed. Shame you dont see the detail in all its glory without using the F3 camera thing. Press F3 again to lock camera on target, and F3 again to return camera to max.

it runs fine on my pc. but the game just sucks, sorry it does. Heres why: The AI: its bugged up, NPC say they are going to do one thing, eg, stay and wait for you. Then they run off and get themselves killed. The physics: it is like running around under water. you move sloooowly, turn slooooowly, hell even the jeep moves slooooowly. like your underwater or something. Dont give me the Low Grav excuse.. it doesent work, the gravity is the same onboard ship, on the halo, or where ever you are. it shouldnt feel like your under water, its awfull. As for good bits... the story line, the story is great, thats all thats kept me playing the game. CHROME is a far superior product, and is a very similar game to HALO, but its much beter. www.chromethegame.com

Look into Viral marketing. then throw a bit of that kind of content into your site, you just have to think of something... thats the hard bit. ive an idea for a site, theres already several around but none that are extensive enough or good enough quality... DVD covers. Then theres the legality issue. The RIAA seem to mind music covers, but the movie people dont seem too fussed about DVD cover sites, not that im aware of anyway. Hmmm.... Movie posters? I think i played around with this some time ago, and got it working, i had it on trillian... im pretty sure anyway. We are talking ages ago.. i havent used Trillian in a veeeeeeeery long time.

you tried some of the hardware links and stuff at www.miniitx.com ? i know its not ITX but theres alsorts there. Failing that, why not just buy an empty rack mount case or something from www.maplin.co.uk and shove it in that?

Yes Viper thats a team icon i dont know what others think, but i agree with viper. but i dont think everyone should have them. then again as crispy said we have had them before but they never looked right, the plain ones the admins have at the minute do though (imo) maybe we should add mods, news ed's too? Im stuck, trying to remember the name of an internet name protocol and cant for the life in me. Rather than using IP numbers you can use another system, similar, that uses numbers. BUT.. no periods. Eg: rather than using the ip 62.38.56.09 or whatever, you could use the alternative (whatever the thing is called) that would look something like 292932773 MSFN has used the system before, i cant remember what it is called though so im unable to go look some stuff up on it. It wont hide your ip, obviously anyone connecting (or you to them) to you will see you connected as your ip/hostmask rather than the long number. anyone know what im talking about? its driving me crazy! :ow:

Id also recommend doing something like a basic PC maintenance course at your local college or night school. Or even do you A+ PC Maintenance, its very easy, people who where pretty alien to computers in my old class soon picked it up and where confident and able in a short period of time. Being in an environment like that is great, as you dont just learn from your tutor, but from fellow class mates you can learn tips and things your tutor wont even be able to teach you. good luck
