  1. I have 30 Billion working parts and have a total storage capacity of around 4 million Megabytes ( 4 Terabytes ). My distributed network handles over 86 Million Bits of data every day via electrical signals syncronised by a data bus that operates at a frequency of 40 cycles per second, or 40 Hz. I can process 100,000 Pixel images in focus @ 25fps in 2 Million colours... What am i?

  7. when you installed office it should have imported all your rules and folders automatically... did for me. can you show me a screenshot of your rules pane in O 2003?
  8. manually unpack them from the cd to the hard disk? Are you sure you completed the installation, with no errors too? thats the kind of thing that happens if you interupt an install or if you got errors when installing it could be the cause of your problem...
  9. can you post again and explain it beter? From what i can make out from your post you need to resetup your network on the main internet PC and set it as an internet gateway.. the Pc the other machines connect to the internet via. Your firewall could be blocking it, what firewall do you have? you should look in its networking options and also set it to allow internet sharing.
  10. its a beta, sounds messed around with and not an official beta (i havent heard of that issue before anyway) uninstall it and wait till the proper thing comes out if you are worried. you can always change the bootscreen anyway, such sites as www.themexp.org are full of custom boot screens and i think even an origional XP boot screen incase anyone needs it.
  11. Hi, you need to accept cookies in order to download the file. some programs such as norton internet security could be blocking it, or you have your browser set to not accept cookies. It is in order to verify you are on this site and not just linking to our files from another site (as people used to do!)
  12. Destroying one of the most unique habitats on earth to make matches and paper is pretty sick.
  13. They where busy fixing the phishing flaw in IE. Come on give them a break, they are a multi billion dollar company, not like they can do everything at once!
  14. There is also a freeware tool on the web for transparency, you can remove that background box and other things with it, such as make windows transparent. its meant for win98 but it works with active desktop on most versions i believe. Sorry havent got a link, but im sure google does.
  15. ..."This documentation guide for n00bz . That sux when people are "dark" in computers" opposed to "are dark about English" Not everyone is able to build a PC, not everyone is able to magically know how to build a PC the first time they have to do so. Everyone has to learn how at some stage. If they are intelligent enough, its usually BEFORE going about building, rather than after blowing something up. As Filer said, this thread is 2 yr old, why dig it up?

  20. The folders will be full of warez. as you know the paths for them, connect to the FTP using a client and put the path in the browser bar and see whats inside the folders. people scan ip ranges and then create these folders to fill with warez as you probably know. But i think you can delete them under DOS. Also, maybe turning windows file protection off will help? ive never had to do this so im going on a limb here.
  21. Someone should hack lop.com or put iron filings in their servers or something.
  22. lop.com bars are a b***h to get rid of. theres a bottom one too that pops up sometimes. Adaware 6 can remove it if its uptodate i think. took me 6 reboots to get rid of that crap a while back. whatever you do dont install torrent search, full of lop stuff and other spyware. They got a nice email off me about it, and they replied too heh. Think they have ditched some of the ads since.
