Thanks, it's the same for me. I've just come across Magic Actions for YouTube™ https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/magic-actions-for-youtube/abjcfabbhafbcdfjoecdgepllmpfceif/related Is this one good? Safe to use?4 points

Thanks, interesting observations. Can't say anything about WebGL or GPU process, since I always block them completely, but I totally agree about the weird fonts. They are blurry and bright. I think people on this forum already noticed those bright fonts. There were a comparison picture posted somewhere with other chromiuims of the same version.3 points

That's because Maxwell has only partial/hybrid HEVC decode. And from what I tried, it fully works for 8bit HEVC only.3 points

How much do you think would be a fair price for e-waste? GTX 680 is 12 years old, Titan is almost 12! Unfortunately electronic components degrade, capacitors dry out, etc. It's electronic waste now. The OP needs to check them carefully before buying, Lots of them could've been repaired several times to this date. P.S. And where you live, do they cost more?3 points

Thank you! Wow do I feel red in the face ... guess I've not been able to shake all the cobwebs from my brain this morning. Looks like Mypal is indeed patched then so please disregard my posting to you @dmiranda and @mina7601. I've also never felt safer.2 points

Actually, you meant September 9 version. as September 16 version is the version to fix the webp security vulnerability. This is how it looks like:2 points
-
You completely missed the point! If MSE can scan for the exploit on Windows, then surely widely-available AV software can scan for the exploit on Linux. Serpent 52 is patched. Try a pre-September version.2 points

@XPerceniol, hello, I see you type even better than before! So looks like you're all fine. I'm glad with the positive progress.2 points

Hi all, after extensive testings, I'm still sticking with the fantastic 348.01 (pleasant colours), but it's not as good as it supposed to be. Unfortunately, I'm experiencing terrible throttling on all drivers from Nvidia site and on all of the suggested above. Looks like finding the original 348.12 is the only solution. Just like it says here. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/292634/throttling-on-all-drivers-from-site-nvidia-laptop-/2 points

Not every member prefers PMs, I can even relate to this. But why won't you ask him in public then? I mean, it's a clearly on-topic, public issue, most importantly: that member shared the patch publicly! Quote from his post. "For you who use browsers that are probably not already patched, I am including the fix that is valid for Chromium-based browsers": https://github.com/webmproject/libwebp/commit/902bc9190331343b2017211debcec8d2ab87e17a https://github.com/webmproject/libwebp/releases/tag/v1.3.2 Link to the original post. https://msfn.org/board/topic/185031-webp-virus-fears-nightmares-suggestions-or-exodus-from-the-internet/?do=findComment&comment=12521442 points

Ordinary Chrome is free and has no timebomb, this one is paid, so no wonder in this trial version it has a timebomb. Any "fix" is considered to be a crack, so I doubt it will surface on MSFN.1 point

Good day all. I was going to post last night when I returned from the outing but I was both physically and mentally drained from being around people. People wear me out and I DO notice the fakery that embodies people nowadays and the way they conduct themselves and interact with each other. While on one hand I get jealous and wish I had this (again fake) social talent people inhabit, on the other hand I'm even more glad I'm a loner and an individual and there is nothing wrong with being a 'misfit' - here's to all the misfits out there HAHA!. I spent most of the evening (hours into the night) still trying to wrap my head around and process what I witnessed whilst being out in public people partaking ny running up their credit cards to buy gifts because people are only concerned about receiving 'stuff' this year rather than the appreciating what they already have which also makes me glad I don't have to partake in this madness and fakery and trickery to 'one up' one another when it comes time to exchange gifts around the Christmas tree and I'm also glad I don't have to subject myself to spending time around family members that I can't stand all year long only to pretend to be happy when I'm not (truly) being genuine. I pride myself (I do use the term loosely) in being TRUE and genuine - I'm very much a take me or leave me kind of guy and what you see is what you get; flaws and all. So you see folks just how much I examine people and situations which says more about me and how far on the spectrum I am. So that should wrap up yesterday and I'm be happy this week spending time with my new plant and enjoying and appreciating the peace and quiet and solace of my own company and yesterday reminded me of just why I don't enjoy going out much. So this lovely morning I'm drinking a tea that is a mix of green tea with Turmeric, curry leaves, clove, pepper cumin seed and cinnamon with pure honey for focus and to detox both the body and mind and prepare for a day to partake on the forums. I'm a little bummed that I'm out of likes/upvotes because I wanted to react to several postings so I'll either just respond with a reply or wait till the system resets and react another time. Hope everyone is having an amazing Sunday out there and coping with the hectic holidays ahead and the hustle and bustle that goes along with it. Please try to be appreciative of what you DO have and if you have people within your life that you enjoy, tell them and express you appreciate them not only by exchanging gifts but let them know that you do care because life is short and you don't want to let those moments go by. Doesn't have to be all mushy and sappy, just don't be afraid to at the very least give a fist bump or hand shake if not a hug to those you care about this year when the world is in turmoil for others out there struggling to just survive in other countries. Yes society as a whole is toxic and fake (at least that is how I see it) , when in your own little bubble comfort zone life doesn't have to always be bad and it doesn't rain everyday. Be well folks. EDIT: Just fixing mistakes, sorry guys about the multiple edits but I wanted this to make sense and raw is was a bit messy Lol.1 point

Ha ha, good to know I had the fix already. I feel safer :P. I also tried in mypal, so I guess that is also fixed. As per trying on a non-fixed version, I completely trust what you say: I tried even though I thought I was unprotected. Put to think about it, not the first time, really ;P1 point

Have you tried with istilldontcareaboutcookies-1.1.1? They are community run, and (they say) answer to requests. It works better (more comprehensively) than the old idontcareaboutcookies. When was the last time you visited optometrist? On the unrelated note, looking at those images I posted on the site as-is, default 100% zoom, they're definitely a bit sharper in Pale Moon. I've read complaints about Chromium blurring images, but didn't pay much attention to it, especially since I don't do general browsing on Chromium (at least most of the time on PC), it's mostly reserved for resource intense web-based apps.1 point

For XP anything higher than Kepler makes no sense, Get something like GTX680, they are very cheap now. About 30 Euro. Or GTX780 for 50 Euro, Titan for 70.1 point

To change - run regedit and navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers Here you need to simply add/remove the keys you want or don't want. Don't forget to make a backup! Do it by going to File > Export... in the regedit.exe application.1 point

How does your registry entries look like? Post a screenshot? Look at. I read it could be due to the newer BIOS version. Earlier ones could do just fine with the trick, those newly updated versions of BIOS, no. If all fails, maybe try to rollback the BIOS to an older one. Only do that if you're sure you know how to work with BIOS flashing.1 point

"My Epic Experience" "Easy Anti Cheat is a virus that makes games unplayable" https://www.reddit.com/r/f***epic/comments/14ffhxs/easy_anti_cheat_is_a_virus_that_makes_games/ But if you still want to run it, try this fix. easyanticheat looks like a not nice thing to have on ones PC. Probably some of the later Windows 7 updates simply blocked it, like it was at some point in time with securom, which was declared to have a rootkit and officialy removed from Vista and disabled from running with some of the later Vista/Windows 7 updates. https://www.reddit.com/r/Dirtybomb/comments/8uweej/easy_anti_cheat_malware/?rdt=545941 point

That certainly needs checking, there's nothing worse for degrading display quality on a flat screen monitor than not running it at its native panel resolution! FWIW, I'm using version 2036 at 1920x1080, 60Hz. I am using 120 DPI 'large fonts', with a VGA connection when using my old ATI card. Fonts all look absolutely fine.1 point

My answer is reasonable as one can ever make. When D.Draker writes something, it means the information is solid. My military background demands to be disciplined, thus don't spread fake news. He can draw whatever amount of red arrows he wants, it doesn't change the facts. There are no quotes at the place where he drew that red arrow. Here's proof that quotes aren't needed, directly from Microsoft, about Edge, with one of the same flags/features he uses. Link to the source: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/discussions/you-can-now-enable-encrypted-client-hello-encrypted-sni-or-esni/m-p/3600372 I'm still waiting for the public apologies and his attacking/offensive post, the one where he makes a mockery out of me, to be edited.1 point

New drivers are a scam. I now have a Keppler card (link) and old driver 352.94 gives me much better fps with Injustice 2, Injustice 2 (link) is a 2018 game! Who would have thought... Driver from this tutorial is also much better than the new ones.1 point

Thank you! The colours look like they simply don't have enough shades, whereas my old cars has rich colours, for example: blue is a simple plain blue. I'd make a screenshot, but all those screen capturing programmes won't show much difference. I'm fond of cosmetics and it's very important for me to see the lipstick shades. I put the old card back, all is fine again. No gradients at all, with the both cards.1 point

Considering the fact this whole "project" was solely based on my hacks from the newest Opera, that you asked me to share with you in my Opera topic (publicly) and @Dave-H knows about, no wonder you quit 'cause it's simply not yours to begin with. Now this whole "project" of "yours" falls under the spam category and is 100% Vapourware. Maybe @Tripredacus needs to see this. I kinda knew something like this was gonna happen, and that's why I didn't want to share at first , then Dave wrote the PMs are private, I was in a good mood and shared the info with him. I will not do this in the future, let this be a lesson ! All of the personal messages, where I told him how to run these versions on old OS and what to mod precisely, are still in my outbox. Sharing them is prohibited, but the mods are very welcome to read. @Tommy 4.e Vapourware is deemed a form of spam, here, and can lead to a ban.1 point
