  1. I’ve decided to create this thread, since the amount of half working programs have became kinda crazy. Handbrake - 1.3 is the latest officially supported version. At this time the newest version work just fine, but it is no longer supported. Beamng.Drive and Rocket League - Both give "App stopped working" When you properly exit them. They function just fine, but this weird message comes up every time. Geforce experience - While you can install and open the newest 1.24 geforce experience, it no longer screen captures and many other functions stops working. 1.23 is the latest one that still work normally. VMware workstation Pro - The newest 16.2.1 version of this still functions on 8.1, but 3D acceleration has been turned off for some reason. 16.1.2 is the latest one that still functions as intended. Logitech GHUB - The latest version works if you update it through vista compatibility setting. For some users a warning saying that the driver is not digitally signed pops up, but everything still works. iTunes - See my topic on this. Onedrive - Microsoft claims that it will stop working on 1st of january 2022 Office 2019 - Somewhere on msfn I’ve seen people claiming that it can be installed. I use office 365 and it still updates to their newest version just fine. Ryzen CPUs - They work just fine. Don’t forget to manually install missing pci drivers from amd folder and usb 3.1 root hub. Use AMD’s windows 10 driver version 2.17.25.506 RTX 3000 - Unfortunately no known workaround has been found RX 6000 by amd - They seem to work. Sometimes you get weird colors on unity games. Please contribute to this list. Cheers

  2. @Dixel Changing countries? I don't think that's viable for me. I'd rather just drop dead if things go too dystopian. Definitely don't wanna live just to survive, though circumstances may lead one to such path. @D.Draker BTW, Christmas decorations came a bit late here, so there was that. It's been years since this time of the year felt magical to me, guess I'm too old. About the world, something caught my attention in the news in recent times. Some people make accusations towards medical students that they're just in for the money and not to help people or something along those lines. So the student that was in front of camera that made that statement was obviously a bit upset about haring such things despite students working hard at it, specifically helping with COVID patients these days. OK, so I won't deny that they work hard, but really, at the end of the day, who isn't in for the money? All this pretending, sheesh. I wonder what the world would like with significantly less optimism bias.

  5. That's always been my favorite firewall by far, and I've used HUNDREDS back in the day. MOST firewalls out there are made for "grandmas and grandpas" with SIMPLISTIC rules like "this is a web browser" or "this is an email client" and then the "pos" ASSUMES a set of ports to allow/block, ASSUMES tcp and udp actions, et cetera. ALL firewalls (and antivirus!) will "slow your computer down", but I think you'll be quite satisfied with that version of Comodo. Back in the day before I modified all OEM "installers" and ported all software to "portable", the parent-based rules in that firewall were a godsend! When an "installer" takes you to a HOME PAGE, for example, that firewall will BLOCK that access because the "parent" isn't the parent that NORMALLY launches your "default" web browser. I actually use a setup with Internet Explorer still set as my "default" but Internet Explorer is disabled, it cannot "launch" on my computer so anything that "tries to" just 'times out'. Much more "security" [there's that d@mn word again!] when your computer doesn't have a "default" web browser.

  6. Jeez , I'm so glad ! BTW , I just found some leftovers of that crapware in my winsxs folder , unlocked the files and deleted them (both) . One of them had some "performance" settings !??! My FPS in games went higher and the PC is much faster now !!!

  7. You'll probably want a TITAN Black, then, if you can still find one. From what I can see, that's the most powerful card which supports CSAA. You'll take a little bit of a performance hit switching from your 980 though. Perhaps if you're lucky to find two TITAN Blacks, you could run them SLI and make up for that. EDIT: In fact, I just went and checked eBay, and it looks like there's a handful of people selling them. As of this edit, there's three bids on someone selling two of them for $205 each.

  9. It's free, no activation required. You have the correct file. Lightweight, fast, efficient, parent-based rules (ie, you can block your default browser from accessing the internet if launched by another browser but allow it access if launched from a shortcut on the desktop).

  10. I suggest version 2.4.18.184. If you can't find the installer then I can PM it to you.

  11. That's about DcBrowser...yes a formidable option for us when FINALIZED (please, @Humming Owl ...) I find it nicer than 360EE... Sure it has some unsolved problems until now, but so many positive things that I like, that as a result I use it mainly. Nice settings page, dark mode with Brightness setting (which I had set to 88%) and Timed activation (which I don't use), plus I had added Dark Background and Light Text extension. I use other extensions (like in my 360Chrome builds): uBlock O., Script Blocker Ultimate, No More Referrer, Ping Blocker, Browser JSGuard ( https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/browser-jsguard/ncpkigeklafkopcelcegambndlhkcbhb ), Privacy Settings (on Full Privacy), Ad Blocker for YouTube (v1.0.6 with ID: gmcmlg.....) that's all running, but I've qq. ext. not running (No History, Random User-Agent, Redirect Link Checker ..). The 360EE builds have to test purposes for now... So @XPerceniol - you could use it, you too.

  14. It's bug 1737470. From Mozilla: Emphasis in original. MailNews and IceDove (and Navigator and IceApe, which include them) are likely to be affected, but not pure Web browsers like Mozilla's Firefox, MCP's Basilisk and Pale Moon, or @roytam1's builds of them. anyway they're merged from https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-esr91/rev/b6173cd78c9d522f2e3257c408933db4f9cedc13 and will be there in next build
