  2. I only use Google Search as fallback, but good to know. x.com redirects to twitter.com here. Is it supposed to work with UXP browsers? I only get "something went wrong" page, nothing useful in the console. Maybe it's for the best, I prefer not to touch anything associated with Musk, LOL.
  3. Google Search adds a “web” filter, because it is no longer focused on web results Anyone already got hit by the new AI results on Google Search? Workaround: add `&udm=14` to the URL. So, I made a new entry in `$profiledirectory$\searchplugins` to add it to the search bar. (with the help of the extension `Add to Search Bar` (link). google-search-web.xml.7z
  4. No idea, I never tried. At least UMDF 1.0 installer is packed in an obvious way inside WMP11 installer, observable if you open it with 7-Zip.
  5. Chalkboard looks like an odd case that happens to be slower in Chromium with GPU acceleration. I don't need benchmarks to tell me Chromium works much fluently with GPU acceleration on my PC, real life examples work just fine to prove it, from smoothness of auto-scrolling, animation on websites, looking/moving around in Google Street, without GPU it feels like 15 FPS at best vs. 60 with GPU, in-browser videos drop frames at various intensity, intensity depends on the OS, typically it's worst on XP, forget about 60 FPS videos in any case (I only use AVC1 or VP9 on YouTube). MotionMark 1.3, there I get 8 to 9 points on XP, 14 - 16 points on 11 with --disable-gpu parameter passed to the browser, 480 to 484 points otherwise. My PC was initially going to be pure AMD Dragon, perhaps CPU falls a bit short on CPU intensive tasks, but the platform generally works well for the purpose it was designed for. It comes from era before Google took over the web. Their engineers don't strike me as being good at optimizing software rendering. I dribbled with Android x86 in the past, it's practically unusable on both of my computers without real GPU drivers active. While it works fine on pure AMD laptop I have as-is, that wasn't the case on my desktop that later got ATI GPU replaced with NVIDIA GPU and NVIDIA was totally unsupported at the time. Nouveau generally doesn't perform too well anyway. Though Android is normally never run without GPU, I don't think there's a smartphone out there where the OS doesn't have appropriate drivers baked in. On Windows, you could probably still get things done with GPU driver disabled if you really wanted.
  6. Today
  7. Thanks for the thread and pool. I use in Windows 7 x64: LibreWolf = 0 policies Supermium = 3 policies
  8. @roytam1 Thank you for the new releases. BOC/Mailnews (and bnavigator too) link doesn't work, says "404 Not Found", please, would you fix it?
  9. Probably contains word it doesn't like, for example you can't mention the notorious config boot configuration file that was used pre-Vista, but it's far from the only word. I recently couldn't post normally in Thorium forum until I reworded what I was trying to say. This forum really went down the toilet, didn't it?
  10. For the last time, he uses Pentium 4 based on Northwood architecture clocked at 2,80 GHz. I had Northwood based Celeron clocked at 2 GHz back in the day. All rather boring, in contrast, the final Pentiums 4 were 64-bit. I tried booting XP with just one core (set it in advanced options in msconfig on BOO.INI tab). At first, it almost seemed Supermium may be usable with easier sites. At the end, I barely managed to close the browser as it made everything unresponsive. Nope, this is totally unusable.
  11. After searching the internet for fake designer bags website and coming up short, I finally found a blog that could help. lt offers a detailed REPLICA BAGS REVIEW. It didn't even matter what style of bag was looking for since there was such an array of selections! Needless to say, this blog has become my "go-to" for everything related to replica bags.
  12. Shopping for a fake bag can be incredibly nerve-wracking, especially if you don't know what store to trust. Thankfully, I recently stumbled across a blog that does all the hard work for you! This blog not only recommends trustworthy sellers of best fake designer bags from top luxury brands but also provides thorough and honest reviews so you can make an educated decision on your purchase. It's already saved me quite a bit of time and stress trying to decide where to shop.
  13. Hi, I am trying to install Windows 7 on a 2020 MacBook Pro: https://everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook_pro/specs/macbook-pro-core-i5-2.0-quad-core-13-2020-4-thunderbolt-3-ports-scissor-specs.html I integrated NVME and USB 3.0 drivers (from XP2ESD pack) and deployed it using DISM. I then used the FlashBootPro 3.3n UEFI boot files. I also used canonking’s modified ACPI: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TzRuYxRzaBaG5V4RUWpGGbgGSaSOgIWs/view. However, when I try to boot it, this happens: https://youtube.com/shorts/VrJDFs4QXGA?si=xDlrnrKOwciKrgd0. It hangs for some reason. How do I get past this?
  14. Something is wrong with the site - I can't seem to post more than one line without getting "403 Forbidden."
  15. I just wish Chase would quit "fixing" things that ain't broke...
  16. Off-topic, but this is a pet peeve of mine. Why doesn't Micro$oft (or anyone else, for that matter) print huge numbers like that with commas (or periods for Europe) - or, since we don't really need to know the RAM usage right down to the byte - just abbreviate it to 2.57 GB? It's virtually impossible to quickly gauge the magnitude of a long string of digits like that - instead you have to stare at it and count digits from right to left! It's as if they've forgotten that computers were invented to do drudgery like that for us!
  17. I've seen the browser-level fill-login broken in the past as well! It's actually why I use an Autofill extension nowadays. A ran into a lot of web sites where the browser-level fill-login would remember the USERNAME but would NOT remember the PASSWORD. Some of those were with an "input" parameter that could be REMOVED by PROXOMITRON, but not all were that "simple". As far as workig on 11 but no longer on 7, I wonder if it's a "ssl cert" algorithm? I've seen portable browser, exact profile, work in 10 but not on XP all on account of ssl encryption algorithm.
  18. More Annoying Chase.com Changes Chase.com is at it again, with two new annoying changes. Their first change, after only ten days (!), broke my workaround for their previous change that broke Chase.com in Serpent - https://msfn.org/board/topic/185966-my-browser-builds-part-5/?do=findComment&comment=1265370 - but oddly, only on my Win 7 home PC! It still works on Serpent on my Win 11 office PC. It's not yet clear to me what the difference is besides the OS. I'll have to try porting my Serpent profile from my office PC to my home PC and see if that fixes it. Their second change is more of an inconvenience: it broke the "Fill Login" feature - not only in Serpent, but in every browser I still use - Edge 109, Firefox 115, and Serpent at work. The site itself has a "remember me" feature for the user ID, but now I have to type my password every time I log in. Edit: Well, I take that back: Edge just signed me in automatically. A bit slow but it worked. OTOH, Mo 115 is now completely broken. I have a suspicion that Chase is making changes as complaints roll in. I probably need to wait until things settle down.
