  1. Today
  2. Because versions for XP, Vista, 7 and 8/8.1 Now separately: https://github.com/Alex313031/thorium-legacy/releases/tag/M122.0.6261.168 And so far the latest version for all of them is 122.
  3. For me, on Mypal 68.14.1, with uBlock Origin 1.57.0, I also receive an empty uBlock Origin Logger until I right-click somewhere in the body of the logger window. Left-clicking somewhere in the uBlock Origin Logger window dow not work to display the contents of the window.
  4. the build releases from the thorium-legacy repo do support W7 so he's likely to be using two different compilers.
  5. I haven't looked into it, but it might be better if you want the classic theme or Aero with modifications. I would need to set up my own 10 VMs with classic and Aero to test. If there is any difference it will not be measurable. I was going to do like AVX builds, but I found that made no measurable difference. I considered disabling it by default since privacy stuff recommends it, but I know those systems are always very finicky and I don't want to confuse the average user interacting with them even more so I just left it.
  6. No, developer should check before saying it is supported.
  7. I got it working. The GetLastError method wasn't working for me. Had to stick to the Mypal method. Replacing 4.8.2 with 4.6.0 gave the sqlite error. but copying: - gkmedias.dll -omni.ja -mozsqlite3.dll -xul.dll -mozglue.dll from Mypal worked for me.
  8. Sorry for waiting so long but I actually got past "Couldn't load XPCOM." I get an error "The application was updated, but the SQLite library wasn't updated properly and the application cannot launch. Please try to launch the application again." followed by illegal operation 03h on xul.dll
  9. i heared there once was a extra release windows 3.2 for chinese country only (useally there is only 3.1 or its better version 3.11)
  10. Maybe so; but I don't see much point in running either Supermium (especially when you can have Ungoogled Chromium instead) or r3dfox on Win 10 or 11. The main reason these forks exist is so you can run them on older Windows versions! I could sort of imagine doing this at the installer level - the installer picks Win 10-optimized dll's if you're installing on Win 10, Win 7-optimized dll's for Win 7, etc. The installer might be a bit bloated, but once you're done installing, you can delete it and not waste space on a bunch of code that's dead on all but one OS. But you'd still need to give Win 10/11 users a reason to pick your browser over vanilla Cr/Mo. That's not as scary as it looks. It's intended for mobile devices (laptops, tablets, phones) that may need to connect to public WiFi services. When you start the browser, it silently connects to a test page at Mozilla. If it gets what it expects, it knows it has Internet connectivity; otherwise, it knows it's on a "captive portal" that the user needs to sign on to before using, and presents the page it got - typically the WiFi service's sign-on page. Obviously, if you don't need that functionality, you can and should disable it as @Sampei.Nihira did.
  11. Yes, it does; and Chase is working on my old phone again. Firefox retains compatibility with phones even older than mine - although I went with 115 instead of 125, just to be stubborn. At least I know I can upgrade again when that nag comes back, and the phone itself will work as long as I don't drop it and 4G still exists. (4G will go away at some point, but my old phone probably has another year or two left.) Almost certainly, at least if you use Facebook/Instagram/Snapchat. At least Meta isn't quite as pervasive as Alphabet (yet); you can avoid using anything Meta owns - at least, if you know that they own it! But the whole darn Internet buys Google ads, uses Google products and services, watches YouTube videos (even on other sites), etc.
  12. Yesterday
  13. tried latest Librewolf with this vxKex keeps crashing randomly
  14. it's not software developer's fault if the compiler doesn't support W7 anymore.
  15. ... 99.99% of times , when the OS generates that error upon trying to launch an ".exe" file, it means that the "Sub System Version" value inside the EXE's PE Header has been set (by the compiler) to a figure higher than the one corresponding to the current OS (e.g. XP=5.1, XPx64=5.2, Vista=6.0, Win7=6.1, Win8=6.2, Win8.1=6.3, Win10/11=10.0); using special software to modify that field of the PE header to an appropriate value for the current OS will allow for the executable to launch, unless some other kernel dependency isn't being fulfilled (in which case the OS will generate an appropriate ERROR message, different to the initial one ) ... Below screengrab is with the AVX2 Thorium variant: TL;DR; ALL the builds you tried have been configured to require Win10+ out-of-the-box ...
  16. ... Leave your router alone ; it's NOT the root cause of this issue; a simple test on Qualys SSL Labs will reveal that the host is currently inaccessible via IPv6: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=www.void.gr
  17. Download the latest pre-release. Someone else already had this issue and I believe Tihiy patched it. https://startisback.com/StartAllBack_setup.exe
  18. ... Not quite ; the list is actually being updated quasi-frequently, you can see so for yourself by visiting: https://github.com/kargig/greek-adblockplus-filter/commits/master/void-gr-filters.txt (most recent modification was just one week ago), however its maintainer is being remiss in also updating its version string, which appears to have been stuck at v2023112600 (Nov 26th 2023?) ; if one feels uncomfortable/vexed about this fact, the list's GH issue tracker is https://github.com/kargig/greek-adblockplus-filter/issues FWIW, with just an IPv4 VDSL+ connection inside Greece, the host "void.gr" can be successfully accessed here ...
  19. I'm on Version 3.7.9. The weather icon is reverse in right-to-left operating systems.
  20. Play Store says Firefox 125.3.0 works on Android 5.0+. Or you can buy a new phone 'cause I don't see anyone porting Chrome to older Androids. The history repeats itself. "You will be upgraded!"
  21. if it would have infinite driver support i'd never stop using it
  22. Update: I think I've found the culprit. Turns out that after disabling the VPN, I was still unable to connect to void.gr which hosts this filterlist. So, I went into the Network Connection properties and disabled IPv6. This solves it. Can't understand though why this issue suddenly emerged. I didn't change anything recently and IPv6 was always enabled there. Perhaps something is going on with the router.
  23. Thanks, I tried other DNS servers: didn't work. I then enabled the VPN: it worked. Turned off VPN: still works. Weird glitch. Still unreachable in Android device. I'll also try a router restart. I don't think there's another local filterlist. I will post if I find something. For languages/countries not having separate AdGuard filterlists, the AdGuard main filterlist does include several neatly separated entries. Search for "NOTE: " (no quotes) and you will see them.
  24. In case you missed, Hybrid Post Quantum Key + QUIC (Kyber draft "X25519Kyber768Draft00"), instructions on bruteforcing that weak "encryption" method. https://msfn.org/board/topic/186176-x25519kyber768draft00-hybrid-post-quantum-secure-key/?do=findComment&comment=1265284
