  2. What about the good ol' TESTSIGNING? bcdedit.exe /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS bcdedit.exe /set TESTSIGNING ON Reboot and install then after the installation bcdedit.exe /set TESTSIGNING OFF reboot again.
  3. Microsoft provides a personal use one-year ESU option for $30. https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2024/10/31/how-to-prepare-for-windows-10-end-of-support-by-moving-to-windows-11-today/
  4. Update: The Windows XP computer is acting like it did initially, where Panda Dome delays the startup..
  5. process viewer? like process hacker 2? sorry, I'm not really familiar with those..
  6. Use Root Certificate Updater for Windows 7 and higher : https://github.com/asheroto/Root-Certificate-Updater Also, do you have a fully updated Windows 7? Do you have the SHA-2 Patch installed? LINK Maybe you are missing that or the driver doesn't have have a valid SHA-2 certificate.
  7. Since some versions I see bad behavior with this cool app: When any new user is logon to station 1st time where this app installed is, he/she will have nothing pinned to TaskBar. To get apps (pinned by default, or pre-pinned with XML config file) to TB you have to unload in StartAllBack setting: "use enhanced Taskbar", then restart explorer shell. I recorded short video with this issue: LINK Is this can be fixed or changed? Thanks for any respond! Ps. Checked it on Win11 23H2 and 24H2 and there is the same behavior.
  8. Hi Zorba, I misunderstod cmalex's wording, that's all. As per python, I'm a newb (so thank you very much for the indications above). msys-mingw I used to play with back when xp was young and shinny, so everuthing was all setup and updated with little (relative to today) user input, a long time ago. Cheers!
  9. D.Draker always knows what he tells. It's official, per the developer. But the question is, why won't they just redirect you to another CDN, as they claim they do.
  10. Means the home IP is clean. P.S. D.Draker always knows what he tells. He has an astonishing military education, was raised in the best French traditions.
  11. Everything updates fine from here at home. And yep, at least a few of the lists do come from Cloudflare servers, I did not check all of my lists. I think I need to STOP updating filter lists from AT WORK. The below is revealed in the logs when I perform an update here at home (I use the same exact lists at work) - I'm surprised I haven't been FIRED for these "words" showing up from a company computer on a company network!
  12. Also note, my drivers use custom ntoskrn8.sys. Mixing with other one can lead into weird scenarions.
  13. Can you show me via a screencap that the AdGuard lists come from a Cloudflare server? The lists will not update here at work but they still update fine at home. I could always manaully migrate a list from home to here at work.
  14. It seems that many users find Rufus more efficient: https://www.ghacks.net/2024/10/30/flyby11-update-introduces-more-windows-11-installation-options-and-plugins/
  15. One country, which we are here forbidden to even breath towards, not to mention calling its name in relation to anything non-positive, is heavily invested in AdGuard. All engineers, the majority of AdGuard developers and other employees work from that country, but registered in Cyprus. Would you wonder why? It's to avoid any possible sanctions, complications, continue to roam free and spread in the West without consequences. They *of course* don't host their lists on servers in that country, they host on Cloudflare, and you're blocked by Cloudflare, not AdGuard. Why would AdGuard compromise their state mission? Your Cloudflare block was already explained to you, I think by Saxon. You told us you get "Are you a human?" on Cloudflare sites. So, your IP is in a bad list. I'm not getting any restrictions by Cloudflare, all is updated fine.
  16. Lucky you. Still down for me but should only be temporary. I'll give it a couple days.
  17. I am trying to install the display driver for Intel Graphics on Ivy Bridge. It is a new version 15.33.53.5161 for Windows 10. But apparently also supports Win NT 6.1. This driver appears to be signed with a new certificate, and is not recognized. After installing a few possibly related SSL updates and running the certificate updater for Windows XP (I do not know of an updater for Windows 7), the certificate is recognized while installing. But not when the device driver needs to be started. Is there a "legit" way of getting past this? Most sites link to this new driver. Certificates keep coming up again and again as a waste of time.
  18. Works fine here. AdGuard lists have been updated successfully just now by uBlock Origin Legacy 1.16.4.35 in New Moon 28. So, I can't confirm your observation.
  19. Many, many games introduce artificial requirements to run on an OS made in 2018 and up. So it's not only the question of hardware. And with old hardware, you're limited to very dated drivers.
  20. All "...Until you want to install a big update". "What I learnt from 3 years of running Windows 11 on “unsupported” PCs" https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2024/10/what-i-learned-from-3-years-of-running-windows-11-on-unsupported-pcs/
  21. I remember not long ago the normal speed was about 1400 kB/s, it's through a download manager, not browser.
  22. I have a non-modified, original Ti Bios issued only to the press-release and installed only on developer' samples. It has no artificial throttling introduced to the public versions. They usually do it to avoid en masse RMA. I can share.
  23. I just stated facts. I do not make it look anything. But you didn't mention in your previous posts which version of AdNauseam you was using, what advantages this extension might have over uBO that prompted you to install it and which UXP browser you was actually talking about. And any Chrome/Chromium experiences and CRX extensions are indeed offtopic here and misleading. No more, no less.
  24. maybe joaquim is a good candidate to reprogramm VDMSound, and the right spot to ask would be that dosbox guys it only has a few people working on it https://github.com/volkertb/vdmsound
  25. Where did you get "PATH=C:\Python38;D:\Mingw_61\bin;%PATH%" from? To me this looks odd because the the path to Python38 is in the C drive and the path to Mingw is in the D drive. No wonder you are having problems. I cannot be bothered with virtual environments and all that, so alI I do is run a batch file to set the Python paths and change into the folder containing setup.py. The path to Mingw is set in the Windows registry in this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment and is usually entered in System Properties/Advanced/Environment Variables. You probably know this already, but for newbies it is necessary to create a file named distutils.cfg in the folder Python38/lib/distutils with these entries: [build] compiler=mingw32 [build_ext] compiler=mingw32 My batch file for setting the Python environment variables is included below: CP38_Env.bat
