I have an idea.

If i delete Soundtrax why should i keed the lang file? Or waveeditor and coverdesigner. or slipstream the lang files to the main setup file.

Won't it be better?

Nero 6.6.0.15a and NVE 3.1.0.14a is out.

And a new NCAB is available. There's some significant changes with this new version.

Overall there's a 10% improvement over NCAB 2.04

- Option to remove NeroNET Client-side support. NeroNET extends the capabilities of the Nero recorder program so that it can be used in an IP-based Intranet. Its aim is to give all users connected to the Intranet comfortable access to the recorder on the NeroNET server. As a result, individual staff members do not need to have recorders installed in their own computers but can record discs on the NeroNET server via Nero. -- from the NeroNET PDF.

- Option to remove DrWeb Anti-Virus Engine and Definitions. DrWeb is a 3rd party virus check addon for Nero. Save 1.26MB.

- Made some changes to PhotoSnap and ShowTime cleanup section. Save 372KB.

- Reorganized Nero Autoplay section. Should be a little clearer now.

- Revised tweak for DVD Overburning. Removed Overburning CD tweak since the default is enabled.

You should'nt have to. Where exactly does Nero install on your system? Did you installed it on a localized Windows machine?

Tried the latest version. Much better experience this time.

Edit - I've always removed the CDI subfolder myself, so I think that can be added to the custom installer as well.

Edit 2 - What about:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead

-AudioPlugins

-DSFilters

-Lib

I know for a fact that DSFilters can be removed because Fridge-RaideR has a .bat file that unregisters and removes them. They are for encoding with Nero.

1. Can you make an option for the silent install directory to be specified?

2. UNNero.exe runs the installation over again, doesn't allow you to uninstall. Not that I want to uninstall such a beautifully customized version of it, but just for functionality sake.

3. Could you make it so Nero does not cache anything before burning?

4. All toolbars at top to be removed/hidden?

5. Nero Express button to go as well?

6. No Start Menu Group created?

Those are the only things I think should be added to the user-friendly GUI. Nice work!
