Yup. It seems to work well on vanilla. But it doesn't have the Bookmark search plus 2 (that i use in mypal68) which allows the fetching of boolmarks favicons. In sp52, I manage to prevent it, and cant figure out how to get it back, at least until I get all my favicons into places sqlite.

I got MailNews to connect my Gmail account! I had to enter my email address in the "User Name" textbox instead of my username, and I also changed the authentication method from "OAuth2" to "Normal password", but instead of entering my account's password, I created application-specific password and entered it. MailNews connected, and I received all mails normally! I found @Mathwiz's post in December 11, 2022, which helped me in this.

I was also able to connect my Gmail account to IceDove-UXP, using the same way.

@roytam1 I want to report a minor inconsistency with IceDove-UXP: it says in the About dialog box 20231110 instead of 20231223.

it is a known issue as I don't fully rebuilt and that BuildID will only be updated when full-rebuild occurs.

New Icedove 20240106 doesn't work. Folder Pane / Message Pane are blank and the menu works incorrectly. I also tried it with a new clean profile.

I tried icedove, but I prefer MailNews, works well.
