Thank you for total ungrouping and closing any app by middle click!

It took me some time to figure out how this works. You need to completely uncheck Combine taskbar buttons for middle-click close to work.

Silly me, but the difference between unchecking and selecting Never in the dropdown is not very clear. Thanks @Tihiy , awesome work!

A general question: can SAB upgrade or do you have to uninstall the old version first? Because I have had a many as 3 versions of SAB on my VM recently, that I by chance saw in the programs list and had to remove the older 2 versions.

Hi @Tihiy!

After one of the updates, the behavior of the popup with app windows list has changed. Before it was limited to one display, but now it is displayed over all displays. If the monitors are absolutely identical - it's not an issue, but I have them different - 0.png. In theory popup shows correctly - 1.png, but in reality it is inconvenient to use - 2.jpg. It also appears on a fewer number of windows depending on the title lengths, but I rarely can reproduce this. Is it possible to limit this popup to single monitor or add a setting for this behavior?

Also in this config the coordinates of the popup relative to the mouse cursor are chosen strangely (I expect that it should be above the cursor, as there is enough space) - 5.png, 6.png. As result: when closing windows via popup - it changes position(?!), loses focus and hides (video).

When the color theme is switched from dark to light, on the secondary display the taskbar do not change the font color. On the primary display it works fine. SAB v3.8.10

Hello @Tihiy

Sometimes the taskbar window preview suddenly disappears and cannot be displayed.
You must restart your computer or log out of Windows before it will be displayed.

At present, I am not sure how this situation triggers this problem. It is encountered under normal use.

Today the taskbar on my secondary screen started appearing behind windows (it's set to auto-hide); no idea what triggered this (Windows 11 23H2 22631.4169, StartAllBack 3.8.10).

There's one weird thing I just noticed – if I click the taskbar, it comes to top, but as soon as another window gains focus, the taskbar will appear behind all other windows.

No, the windows that were covering it weren't topmost (TigerVNC Client and Ripcord [Discord client], both of which are stretched to fill the full height of the monitor, but not maximised), though the taskbar sure behaved as if they were topmost as long as it didn't have focus; I then started RoyalTS, which I do run maximised on secondary screen, and I couldn't get the taskbar to appear at all by using my mouse, though after I closed RoyalTS, taskbar now behaves normally again. and appears on top of other windows. No idea what triggered this.

I think I have a similar experience but this happens with Microsoft Edge running. The autohide will no longer autohide and stay over any maximized window except for something in fullscreen like a game. The task bar will stay up in both monitors.

I am on Microsoft 24H2 OS build 26100.1882 with SAB 3.8.10 version. However, this seemed to happen in 23H2 as well. I thought maybe it had to do with the latest Nividia driver released on October 1st but I tried disabling the overlay and it still happened.

I'm not sure if this was already reported but I finally upgraded from SaB 3.7 to 3.8.10 in preparation for 24H2 and noticed something strange. When the Startbutton is centered the theme of the Taskbar doesn't get rendered correctly on the first monitor. I've picked a Windows Vista theme to clearly show the difference:

Start Button on the left:

Start Button centered:

This does not happen on the second monitor Taskbar, there it's always rendered correctly.

That's on Windows 11 23H2 22631.4169

Possibly already a known issue, but I will report it anyway: On 24H2, if not using the enhanced Start menu, Start pops up at the bottom of the screen when using left or right aligned taskbar.

What even is this eww.

That's what I would like to know, did I do anything wrong on my end? Any way I can help with debugging?

Hello

I have a question to the developer: are there any plans to add custom toolbars like there were in previous windows versions?

I really miss this feature after upgrading to 24h2

Example image from the internet

Something styled to look like the Explorer drop-down menu with its pinned folders, but with a custom location would look great.
