I've had a weird crash issue on 3.8.2 with pressing windows key and hovering over the second monitor and the first one's taskbar. Haven't been able to replicate this on 3.8.1.

 

Edit: if there is an easy way to provide logs I can do so.

3) Crash

4) Send me dmp file from C:\dumps folder

It seems that is the multi monitors problem. On my notebook the last version works fine. I talk about native START menu ...

The "How to taskbar" button (video icon), in the Taskbar settings, directs to an unavailable video.

Also, I would like to suggest something: add an option to clear the list of shortcuts on the left side of Start menu, similar to how you could do it on Windows XP. Would be great, instead of having to right click a shortcut and select "Remove from this list" every time, especially when the left side list is full of programs.

I want to report something: when you mouse over a taskbar button, and the thumbnail preview appears, and you hold on the close button with the left mouse button and then move your mouse outside the close button, and then release the mouse button, the window still closes. Not sure if that's intentional or not, but it's annoying, considering Windows 11 itself without SAB doesn't do this.

Another small bug in 3.8.2

If there are no programs running (taskbar is empty), and the focus is only on the desktop, the start button doesn't work. When clicked, I see only a very short flash on the screen, as if it had been launched and closed immediately.

It's a very small bug once you know it's behavior, so maybe it can be put on the list of minor problems.

All the previous bugs I reported are fixed, thank you very much! I hope 3.8.3 becomes completely ready for release soon, because the updater at the moment keeps downgrading me back to 3.8.2. I have disabled auto-update for this reason temporarily.

I'm using the latest version but it seems that when I have the flyout option it takes a long time for icons to appear when I browse through folders in the flyout menu.  They just display the generic white 'paper' icon.  They do load but it seems to take a while.  I've cleaned the icon caches but that doesn't seem to help.  Any thoughts?

All "Win + x" key bugs I reported have been fixed except for one small inconsistency (not necessarily a bug if purposely made) compared to 3.7.11 or without SAB.

Pressing "Win + NUM" key always cycles from the 1st window in that group with 3.7.11 or without SAB, but with 3.8.3, when I'm already focusing on one of the windows in that group, pressing it causes it to cycle starting from the current window. E.g.: When I'm focusing on the 2nd window in the 1st position, pressing "Win + 1" begins from the 2nd window, but with 3.7.11 or without SAB, it begins from the 1st one.

But aside from that now I've got a new bug,
It's rare and hard to triggerr, but once in a while the taskbar previews now will hide behind a window.
I.e. when you have have an app or any kind of window presented in full size, and you place your mouse over an app icon in the taskbar to see its preview, the preview will show up... beneath said window,
So you have to minimize the window at least once in order to see it again :0

 

 

Also found a new bug today (?)
in win7 mode, taskbar preview will show some elemets in a funny way if you open windows like folder properties

Ok got another critical bug for the first time ever,
Dk what triggerred it, but I can't open my existing windows via the explorer icon on taskbar till I reset it,

After using the latest version for a short time, the native START menu behaves perfectly. THNX @Tihiy for your amazing work.
