Yup, that is normal. It's not supported.

It's the 1st version of SAB that is not supported.

Read the full release notes for ALPHA1 and ALPHA2. It's a new taskbar in 3.8+. 7+ Taskbar Tweaker is not supported.

Hi @Tihiy

I have just installed the official version 3.8.2 of StartAllBack and I would like to inform you that all the bugs I reported are gone. I didn't find any new ones either. So, very good job and thank you for ur effort. 🤝🙂

I didn't knew we got alpha versions merged with release ones.

So any of new versions will integrate TASKBAR2 ?

Read the release notes for 3.8.....

I was particularly interested in 7+ Taskbar Tweaker because it can reduce the spacing of icons in the taskbar. (With StartAllBack, the spacing "xs" is larger than when using the 7+ Taskbar Tweaker.)

@Tihiy,

I want to clarify what "No 7+ Taskbar Tweaker or taskbar hacks expected to work" means, if possible.

1. Does it mean that the compatibility of the current version with 7+ Taskbar Tweaker or other taskbar hacks is broken and their developers should add this compatibility, or that tweaking is no longer possible at all and, for example, the developer of 7+ Taskbar Tweaker will not be able to add this compatibility at all?

2. If he can't, are you going to add features from 7+ Taskbar Tweaker such as "Don't group" and "Close by Middle click"? Actually, these two features are all I need to give up 7+ Taskbar Tweaker or WindHawk.

I would add 3rd click on Taskbar to bring Task Manager and "click on a combinate element" to switch windows is so useful :)

@Tihiy I'm on Windows 11 24h2 and tried out SAB V3.8.1 yesterday, I think I found a small bug with File Explorer. Issue is if in SAB, Win7 command bar is used the Ribbon UI doesn't show the drop down menu when clicked. I've updated to V3.8.2 and the issues still there. Not sure if its just my setup having this issue since I haven't seen any reports on this topic. I do have a theme installed its Simply 11 Macish Theme by dcpdcp11. Not sure if that's causing the problem. I've had that theme installed since Windows 11 22H2 and SAB installed without issues. I'm also using QTTabBar V2048 Beta 2 for the better tabs and other useful functions for File Explorer. It's way better than the new File Explorer tabs IMO and fully customizable. Is anyone else having this problem when they use the Win7 Command bar? This bug only happens for the Win7 command bar the others (Win11&10) work properly.

This is the only issue I'm having with SAB V3.8.2 ATM, other features are working perfectly. Thanks for making a great program Tihiy much appreciated!

After installing  3.8.2 it fixed the wrong preview order I've mentioed here

The desktop mirrored pic is still presented though,

But aside from that now I've got a new bug,
It's rare and hard to triggerr, but once in a while the taskbar previews now will hide behind a window.
I.e. when you have have an app or any kind of window presented in full size, and you place your mouse over an app icon in the taskbar to see its preview, the preview will show up... beneath said window,
So you have to minimize the window at least once in order to see it again :0
