  1. Not UAC settings, a UAC prompt raised by an app requiring Elevation - Task bar shortcut that points to D:\Temp\Shared-MMC\Domain-Forest.msc. Regardless of user, this msc raises a UAC prompt, however only when I invoke this for another user is it a problem, the UAC prompt never appears, normally the screen freezes and the UAC prompt is in foreground, I am suspecting that the prompt may be hidden. Sorry @Tihiy upon further testing this occurs without SAB as well; I guess this version of W11 is hosed. Did an IPU which seems to have fixed things.
  2. @Tihiy I have been using SAB since its advent. I have it on a Windows 11 system that has just upgraded to 26120.1930. I have your very latest beta version installed, however, the release version also exhibits this issue. If I disable SAB this issue does not occur. What I am seeing and how to induce it: 1) Shift-Right-Click a mmc shortcut that will raise a UAC prompt like a custom MMC with Active Directory Users and Computers and GPMC loaded. 2) Choose Run as different user, I choose a domain admin smart card logon and enter my pin 3) At that point I never see the UAC prompt and my system freezes completely. I have to power force it off or send a shutdown\reboot command from a remote computer. It only seems to occur when an app invokes a UAC prompt when Run as a different user, I can run an unrestricted app as the same smartcard user fine. As noted if I disable SAB this doesn't occur. I will continue to try and confirm my findings and test same on a similar setup.
  3. No sorry - steps I noted always work for me, at least with toolbars based on folders.
  4. If after an unlock you increase the height of the taskbar to double you can then drag any added toolbar around to different locations > up, > along >down. Then reduce the taskbar height and lock.
  5. @Tihiy and as a follow up to my previous question about Taskbar toolbars; this is somewhat related. If you look at the image or your standard address bar on the new Taskbar with dark mode enabled, the text for the last used path is also dark\black which makes it almost unreadable. Here it would be better white\light: When the address bar is expanded it has the same color issue as my previous comment - i.e. light\white background even when dark mode is enabled. Maybe these color schemes are a function of the OS and something you cannot change, but if a part of your proprietary code and is possible to match the mode set it would be an aesthetic UI improvement.
  6. @Tihiy Keep up the good work and development of a great app. Here is something to possibly improve\review. I am not sure if this is possible for you to implement but asking for insight anyway; it would improve the UI experience. Would it be possible to enable dark mode on Toolbar flyouts? In the image I show below I have a toolbar pointing at a folder with internet shortcuts. Currently the background on the toolbar is light while in settings the OS is set to dark and File Explorer windows are dark following the OS.
  7. @Tihiy tool tips are working now and have survived a logoff. Thanks.
  8. @Tihiy great software by the way. I am running 3.8.1 and seem to have found a bug. I have a toolbar added to your taskbar that points to a folder containing shortcuts. These are a mixture of application and folder and share shortcuts. All the icons appear fine but when I hover over them there are no tool tips. I have to go to each items properties the determine which is which. The snipping tool doesn't capture the mouse pointer but basically as in images below With SAB and without. Computer with SAB Computer without SAB So removing the toolbar and re-adding it seems to have fixed the tool tips. I will reply later if there are and changes, like it doesn't survive a logoff or reboot. So it didn't survive after a reboot; now back to no tool tips. Seems like an issue with your toolbar code. Also position of icons in the toolbar doesn't seem to survive a reboot. This (icons relocating) seems to have stabilized.
  9. Yes I see that now as just upgraded. It does look like @Tihiy fixed my issue with Run as different user though!
  10. So I am on W11 26120.1252 and this does not happen to me with T2 APHA 2r as Settings > Time & language > Date & Time opens for me.
  11. @Tihiy, I am not sure if this a bug or by design. If I shift-right-click on a taskbar button, Run as different user is not visible. I can get there by first right-clicking icon, then on the context menu do shift-right-click. In your stable version it appears with just the usual shift-right-click on the taskbar button\icon.
