That sucks.Multiple processes can be disabled in Mypal 68 but not 360 chrome.Maybe someone else will chime in on this.

I use only 2 processes in Serpent 52, 3 processes in Mypal and depending on how many windows I open, usually 5 process with 360, and I agree, it does suck that V13 is hard to work with :(

Do you have the .paf version by chance?

I found this version: http://web.archive.org/web/20141118203930/http://download3.portableapps.com/portableapps/dtaskmanagerportable/DTaskManagerPortable_1.53_Rev_2.paf.exe

It's not exactly 1.53 paf (yes, tried finding over the Web for 1.53 paf itself, but found none), but rather 1.53 Rev 2 paf. Let me know if this is what you wanted.

Thank you, this works quite well and I trimmed pretty much everything other than the browser and its better than 1.53 for me. :)

You're welcome. Nice to hear that.

What is the difference between version 13 and 13.5?

Is one easier on memory or no difference there?

As of now , neither . In the past , let's say a year ago - 13.5 was the clear winner . Now both are obsolete with many "modern" websites. MSFN and Twitter should still work though.

EDIT : It was fun while it lasted. Thanks to everyone in this project , goodbye.

Are you saying that these 360 browsers are never going to be updated anymore?

If so is there anything new coming for XP besides Mypal68?

Looks like they won't . It's just too much time passed since the initial release of the last (13th) version . Almost 2 years . The engine is too old now. It's based on Chrome 86 , and now Chrome 107 had been released on 23.08.2022 ! A couple of months from now and it would be completely useless , and more importantly - unsafe .

EDIT:

Sorry , I don't know anything about PyPal and/or any firefox related stuff. I only use Chrome.

Such a pity all that hard work and efforts went into those browsers. Too bad they couldn't be updated. I use 360V11 and I realize it is unsafe. Still works on movies and videos. Yeah, too much times has gone by now to even attempt such. Even I'd hoped to make the switch to Chrome, but obviously 13.5 on XP is as good as I can do so better to go back to FF.  No worries.

Basically, most of us (stuck on XP) have turned back to Serpent or Mypal and they are both "updated" - "Maintained" might be a better word.

I use the Latest Serpent and Mypal now without any serious issues. Good luck ;)
