Just tried a new version of Chromium 104.0.5112.102 (Official Build, ungoogled-chromium) (64-bit) on the same Emma, only a bit above 100MB.

Looks like something has changed in memory management compared to older Chrome or Chromium versions. Hopefully for the better! Hope dies last! upp.gif

Indeed, I took it from here. Can't say it's 100% safe, I guess so, but I only used it for a short amunt of time. All version here, except for the latest 109 and 108.

Interesting! But, these versions including older ones are not compatible with Windows XP, of course. Therefore, only for Windows 7 and higher. :(

I currently use Ungoogled Chromium Portable v97.

I have not paid much attention to RAM as I never run low with 32 GB.

I use Speedometer 2.1 from here:  https://browserbench.org/Speedometer2.1/

For me, speed started slowing down after v97 so I've intentionally remained at v97.

v97 scores 298 to 303 for me at Speedometer 2.1.

360Chrome v13.5 only scores 167 to 171.

Works on Vista with only 3 files by win32 © added to the folder, as you can see on the screenshot.

I read MSFN quite a bit.  I used to use Official Pale Moon and dropped it recently and found this forum when searching alternatives.

I'm not positive, but if I remember, Ungoogled stopped making a 32-bit version back at v85.  My guess is that X-Chromium probably stopped 32-bit way back then too.

Speedometer 2.1 scores with my browsers:

360Chrome v13.0: 24.2

360Chrome v13.5: 24.1

DCBrowser: 23.7

-so very bad...

Use too Speed-Battle testhttp://www.speed-battle.com/speedtest_e.php

..and have overall score:

v13.0: 248.69 then 302.71 .. 304.71 ...

v13.5: 287.25 .. 311.91 .. 299.3 ...

DCBrowser: 178.03 .. 182.4 .. 176.23 ...

..and like Load Test by Raymond Hill http://raymondhill.net/ublock/tiles1.html

- best from the 5 reboots, with static network filtering on green, and generic cosmetic filtering on red, thanks to uBlock:

Page loaded in:

v13.0: 554 ms

v13.5: 462 ms

DCBrowser: 486 ms

So differences are minimes.

do you know which version was the last to support XP? thank you in advance

If you're talking about X-Chromium, version 49.0.2605.0 rev16 is the last to run on XP.
