  1. Thank you. Much more helpful than telling me something I've never heard of is well known or asking why I'm not on Firefox.
  2. I can not. My Chrome 107 blips to a crash if I remove it. That tells me to keep it. I don't have a better debug process outside of this way it crashes and that way it does not crash.
  3. Could you link to reasons to switch off the vulkan stuff? It works with the vulkan stuff and --diable-gpu didn't seem to do anything. Did not know how to test with and without so for now I will keep vulcan.
  4. I don't have the skills to debug but when I did those changes, I could no longer launch Chrome 107. It would blip open for a split second and then crash itself closed. I just tried again with no first run and no default browser and it still blips to a crash. My only guess is that it has to do with video/graphics. I keep the vulkan, two lib*.dll, and swiftshader files and now all seems fine and no update prompt at every exit.
  5. My Ungoogled Chromium already disables automatic updates but I do have an installed version of Chrome 107 that requests an update whenever I exit. I tried the method submitted above and it did prevent the update request. But it also rendered my Chrome 107 useless and I have reverted to my original setup to restore functionality.
  6. I'm not positive, but if I remember, Ungoogled stopped making a 32-bit version back at v85. My guess is that X-Chromium probably stopped 32-bit way back then too.
  7. Another browser I have is called X-Chromium. I prefer the Ungoogled but there are probably ways to ungoogle X-Chromium. https://www.winpenpack.com/en/download.php?view.1082
  8. I read MSFN quite a bit. I used to use Official Pale Moon and dropped it recently and found this forum when searching alternatives.
  9. I currently use Ungoogled Chromium Portable v97. I have not paid much attention to RAM as I never run low with 32 GB. I use Speedometer 2.1 from here: https://browserbench.org/Speedometer2.1/ For me, speed started slowing down after v97 so I've intentionally remained at v97. v97 scores 298 to 303 for me at Speedometer 2.1. 360Chrome v13.5 only scores 167 to 171.
  10. In the ArcticFoxie versions, you can add any useragent you want in the loader.ini file. At the end of the Parameters line, the below is what I add, you could change this to whatever useragent you prefer: --user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/86.0.4240.198 Safari/537.36"
