I'm not quite sure what your method was to get Rockstar Games Launcher working but to continue playing GTA 5 I simply had to use a executable that bypasses RGL. Not a problem since I'm only interested in the story mode of that game but that won't be a solution for those interested in online mode.

Honestly, I don't know how it is a bad news: since Piriform acquisition by Avast quality of this tool dropped significantly and most accurate description of it would be bloatware.
