On the bright side, use “The Bridge Curse 2 DX11” desktop icon to run the game on Windows 7 via -dx11 switch!

Same works for Back 4 Blood: Ultimate Edition Build 14216215 (Zombie game).

In contrast to the first game, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II v1.0

Requires Windows 10+

A big let down.

EVERSPACE 2: Digital Deluxe Bundle v1.2.39726 Requires Windows 10+

On the other hand, the older build v1.0.34898, is still compatible with Windows 7!

Updated MX vs ATV Legends v3.04 (Season 3 Update) now requires Windows 10

But they say there's still a Windows 7 Fix available, not sure how good.

The same  Windows 7 Fix works for KARM: Headbang Edition v1.0.1

How to play on Windows 7: Install KexSetup_x64Rel.exe. Open “KARM\Binaries\Win64\KARM-Win64-Shipping.exe” file properties in Explorer, then “VxKex” tab. Check “Enable VxKex for this program” and “Report a different version of Windows, Windows 10” checkboxes, Apply.

Looks like for House Flipper 2 Build 14522811, too!

ffmpeg 7.0.1 full requires Windows 10.

So, rust, the compiler for rav1e, no longer supports Windows 7. Which means the full build can't work on Windows 7 (without dropping rav1e). I'm afraid that's the end of the road.

The essentials build will continue to work on Win 7 as long as viable.

Release 7.0 and git 2024-05-23-git-ece95dc3dc are the last full builds to support Windows 7.

All Qt 6+ software with extremely high percent will not work on Windows 7, because I have seen only developers who does very strange things. Example. I strongly recommend to not spent time for their pieces of bad code. Try to search software without Qt and to talk with their developer. Qt is a cancer. If you need an app for Windows only, you can start to practise on C/C++/C#/Go... and Win API. You will get more lightweight software finally.

P.S. I spent to much time to communicate with developers who using Qt to create apps. It's abbyss.

P.P.S. Creating app for Windows XP it will work on Windows 7 too.

Yes, right, MKVToolnix, for example.

ELDEN RING: Shadow of the Erdtree - Deluxe Edition v12.1 gets "Windows 7 Fix", I'm interested how it works (or don't) on a native DX11 only card.

BTW, I tried a ported version 82, didn't like it at all. Slow, and the output files result in a very high contrast, supersaturated videos.
