  1. LOL Check in what forum you replied Topic closed.
  2. Thanks for this investigation, mark49! I yet have to update the DriverPacks with the nF 4 Intel Edition drivers, but DriverPack LAN is already updated with them. And you're correct, these ethernet drivers are NOT (completely) compatible with nForce 3/4. Not at all with nForce 2, but that was already the case for the nForce 4 AMD Edition drivers. I'll add the nF4 Intel drivers now to DP Chipset and DP MassStorage.
  3. Windows 2000: 1024 Windows XP: 4096 (1024 if installing through winnt.exe/winnt32.exe)
  4. About which file did it complain? Did you modify sfc_os.dll?
  5. Yes, boot into Windows and check the Device Manager in your Control Panel. Then look for yellow exclamation marks. If there are some, not all your drivers have been installed. And what is that explanation of 'one bar pass so my chipset drivers didn't install'? :s Moved to DriverPacks General Discussion.
  6. Double posting is against the forum rules! Topic closed.
  7. This is a mass storage device! You cannot slipstream its drivers using the same method as for Plug 'n Play drivers! Please read this tutorial.
  8. No you don't have to copy all .inf file to $OEM$\$$\Inf... then you must have done something else wrong, I'm afraid
  9. I'd think the second entry overwrites the first one and so on. Or isn't that the case?
  10. Yes, I am ashamed. It is me. Bâshrat, please help me. I'm desperate. I need to auto-install the drivers for my HTPC's A7N8X-VM/400 Mobo, and it wont work! (I don't want to run the utility.) Eveything else on my drivers-from-CD works great, just not this. Can you help? Nothing I do seems to work. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well... if you want it simple... Use my DriverPacks I don't think there are problems with any chips on that mobo. EDIT: PS: you've got a reply to your mail too. Though it's got the same content as here
  11. First of all, welcome to MSFN.org! But.... SEARCH first! Use MSFN's search function and google! I know you are new here, maybe you're even new to the concept 'forum', but please search before posting! Because you're new here, I won't close this topic. But you're warned!
  12. Topic moved to DriverPacks General Discussion. Is your problem solved, cut?
  13. Then only one possibility is left: you must be using the wrong drivers... Did you download newer ones or something? Maybe you've accidentally downloaded the wrong ones...
  14. Well, I forgot to mention that, but I thought it'd be obvious...
  15. @cybpsych: thanks, updated. @gilesw: nForce 4 Intel Edition ethernet driver has been added. @rikgale: the link should be like this, that's why...
  16. @DigeratiPrime: hehe odd problem @mark49: nope, I use the ATI Catalyst drivers WITHOUT the Control Center: I tend to use the ones that use the good ol' Control Panel And I had to add that atioglgl.dll file to add support for the Mobility series... And where do you find those file- and foldernames? :s They're not part of DriverPack Graphics A V5.06, that's for sure...
  17. OK, issue will be fixed in the next version. At least for the MSI K8T Neo mobo. I need cut to post his HWID first.
  18. Could you please post the HWID of your VIA VT8237 mass storage controller? EDIT: @cut: I noticed after replying to this topic, that your problem was solved. Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but that is NOT a solution. That way it's solved for you, but it won't be working anymore for others. That's why I STILL need you to post that HWID
  19. More than 95% of the drivers would work just fine for Windows 2000. But as djbe says, Windows 2000 supports only a much shorter OemPnPDriversPath... If you don't use all DriverPacks, it won't be a problem, though.
  20. I'm finally back! **** this was a horrible week! First I didn't have access to my pc for about 5 days. Then the day that I did have access, my summer job started: when I got home I was exhausted so I couldn't continue my work. Today is my day off and finally I'll have the time to get working on the DriverPacks again... This post is here just to explain my absence to you guys Also note that I managed to get new hosting yesterday evening!!! 300GB bandwidth/month on a server that has been offline for only one hour in the last 4 months. This should guarantee better uptime, better speeds and no more lack of bandwidth Now I'll start replying to all your posts and trying to get as many DriverPacks updated as possible.
  21. nVidia's 6600 and ATI's 9600 cannot be compared: they're from a different generation. So if you'd go for that price range, I'd suggest you'd choose a graphics card with a nVidia 6600 GPU or an ATI X700 GPU.
  22. I'd go for an nForce 4 Intel Edition motherboard. It all depends on which further features you need and on how much you are willing to spend
  23. Then the MX4000 you suggested sucks bigtime... Don't expect much of a 'gaming graphics card' when you only want to spend 50$... EDIT: oops didn't see there were already 3 pages
  24. Well, if you don't try with a non-nLited UXPCD, you'll never know for sure... You know what you have to do, I think.
  25. You may want to check the nForce 4 AMD drivers: the audio driver included there can also be used for older nForce series. Though you won't have any advantage by using these. Just check the unified nForce drivers. That will be sufficient for you. (I need them all for my DriverPacks and I have to combine them.)
