  1. Catalyst 5.7 is out. Update follows tomorrow.
  2. I think that it has to do with your DHCP config... Probably with the 'full driverpackage', you also get a utility installed along with the driver, this utility might alter some settings that make everything work out of the box - at least in your case. 90% chance that your router is set to be a DHCP server, which means the router will decide which client gets which IP address. That's why you'll have to enable '', like this: Start > Control Panel > Network Connections > Local Area Connection > Properties > General > Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) > Properties > Obtain an IP address automatically If this doesn't work, please let me know.
  3. It's **still** (I had already seen it before) beta, that driver... PLUS there is no motherboard/add-on card that already uses it AFAIK... (or it must be a very exotic one) Let's wait for a stable one first
  4. hehe thanks I would have found it anyway, but... thanks
  5. Hi all! I'm working on an AIO (All In One) Promise mass storage driver, too avoid the obvious compatibility issues. BUT (a biiiiig 'but') to get it fully functional and fully compliant with all Promise mass storage devices (unlike Promise's authentical drivers :sarc:), I need YOU to post your HWIDs! You can easily do that using my small tool save_hwids.exe. If you are a member other computer-related forums, please link to this topic! Whenever you 'post' your hwids.txt file, ATTACH it and DON'T post it. For (non-)MSFN members: please mail me: BashratTheSneaky (AT) gmail.com.. (Subscribing me to spamming lists is useless because of GMail's strong anti-spam protection.) So far I've added support for 11 of Promise's mass storage controllers, still plenty of them to be done... Current list: (I still have to add the ones already reported!) Promise FastTrak 378ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3373&SUBSYS_80F51043&REV_02
  6. LET'S BRING BACK SOME LIFE IN THIS SHOW! To start with: is there actually a decent number of purchases? (Please don't specify, just say if it's within your expectations or not...) And how many times did the previous version get downloaded?
  7. The website isn't updated yet... for a reason?
  8. Eh... almost half a year now?
  9. eh... check cybpsych's post... 2 posts higher than yours...
  10. This is really odd :o Please attach your winnt.sif and txtsetup.sif files!
  11. What guide? expand -r filename.ex_ This will extract 'filename.ex_' to 'filename.ext'.
  12. Did you make any modifications to the DriverPacks BASE?
  13. hehe nice one... did you discover it all by yourself? P.S.: Why use MSN in the first place
  14. Please check this post! Topic closed. Please continue in the linked topic.
  15. Here it is! mob_x.inf Place this file in D\G\A\1 or in any other ATI Catalyst 5.6 driver and you'll get support for the ATI Mobility Radeon X300/X600/X700/X800 series. Please let me know whether it works or not, so I can fix it! (Though everything *should* be working...) mob_x.inf
  16. HEHE indeed a very promissing company !!!! I just don't understand the Junior part A coffee please! B) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  17. I think you actually mean OOBE (Out Of Box Experience)? You can execute it if you use the correct switches.
  18. If both switches & AutoIt are too hard, I can only think of one 'reasonable easy solution': USF (Universal Switch Finder). Search the board and you'll find the topic easily.
  19. You're added. I'd suggest you'd remove your e-mail address now.
  20. hehe I'm gonna rescue you all I will be splitting the mobility .inf in several others (i.e. the X??? series separately), to speed up the maintenance & the clarity of the driver's structure (it WAS a file of 5000+ lines and it seemed Patje had even forgot several sections - which explains why some cards aren't working). I'll post here the mob_x.inf file (shorter filename, as requested) in a while. Then you can just copy it to your ATI driver folder (typical: D\G\A\1) and it should be working then for all X series drivers. I won't be able to finish everything tonight: it's alot of work and ATM it's one big mess... EDIT: @2forza: so what brand was it now? EDIT2: ok you updated your second last post... never mind then
  21. All HWIDs posted are added. @2forza: is it a brand-/vendor-specific HWID?
  22. Isn't it working for you? It *should*... At least, if your HWID matches this one: "ATI MOBILITY RADEON X600" = ati2mtag_M24, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_3150 If yours doesn't match this one, I suggest you post yours in this topic so I can add it.
  23. ← Why is that? There are also ATI FireGL Mobility cards...
  24. Nice one!
  25. hehe... Please try WITHOUT those drivers and let us know if that works too.
