    nlite with xp mce

i have a xp media center edition dvd, ive made nlite discs before, but before i tried figured id ask, does nlite work with mce dvds?
  3. i've been trying to share a folder between 2 pc s on my wireless network for 2 days now, both run nlite windows xp home, when i made the disc i choose "dont show my computer on network" setting or somthing like that, now i think its making it difficult for me because i have little knowledge of networking. i remember it saying you can still network to these pcs if you know the ip, or you hve to do it the old/hard way or somthin. can anyone help? thanks

  5. ok so how and what do i need to post
  6. heres my hwid, but my processor is not a sempron 2500+, its actually a mobile athlon 1400 (see attached text file) Report.zip
  7. jusst tell me where to find it
  8. i dont think it will show if the chipset or lan drivers are installed or not, even with a normal windows install it installs lan drivers and i think it just shows nothing about chipset drivers in the device manager, however, the standby button is shaded and un-clickable untill i install the chipset (4in1) drivers. so it did not install them..
  9. it complained when i installed all my drivers, via 4in1, lan, ati, turtle beach sound card no i didnt modify that, was i supposed to?
  10. i used nlite to set up my full unattended install, then used bashrats driver packs and base installer, then i edited my winnt.sif - i just added these Data] AutoPartition=0 [unattended] Repartition=No so it wouldnt auto format my second partion.. also i edited the txtsetup.sif and changed the following: [HardwareIdsDatabase] PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3149&SUBSYS_80ED1043 = "viasraid" --> deleted PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3149 = "viamraid" changed to PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3149 = "viasraid" [sCSI] viasraid = "VIA SATA RAID Controller" changed to viasraid = "VIA Serial ATA RAID Controller" after blue screen after file copying during install so where di i go wrong? setup still asked me all the normal question.
  11. this worked for me too after the same error. i have a asrock K7U 880 board with a mobile athlon
  12. i searched this and found nothing specific. i made a cd with the driver packs (SATA, chipset,LAN) and the install worked ok, did not need a floppy which is great, but i dont think the other drivers installed. so while installing my drivers, chipset, lan, ati catalyst, after each installation i got a windows file protection window.. i hit cancel, i think it wanted me to inset a windows cd.. is this normal?
  13. i just got my first cd to actually work, slipstreamed SATA driver pack and chipset, lan driver packs, my cd successfully installed the SATA drivers without a floppy (yes!) but i dont think my chipset or lan driver installed, im pretty sure the chipset one did not, because my system boots in one bar pass at the xp boot screen, which only happens when i have no chipset drivers installed, after i install via's 4in1 normally, my pc always boots slower, so i dont think it installed. is there a way to tell?
