  1. The tutorial has now been moved to the uAwiki, to this page. Enjoy a better lay-out!
  2. That *should* not be the problem...
  3. Well, what can I say. With each update, everything gets more stable... maybe that wasn't the case in the past, but it certainly is now. It's true that in each updates driver updates are included - some minorly, some majorly updated - but that's a necessity to solve problems... Many times new HWIDs are included in newer driver versions (minorly updated ones, most of the time). The difference between a 'stable' and an 'unstable' version would be: less drivers = more stability = less devices supported. Maybe in the future that such things could exist Topic moved to DriverPacks General Discussion.
  4. "ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9600/9700 Series" = ati2mtag_M10, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4E50 That means it should get installed... :s The link has been fixed.
  5. Sound is on the same server as LAN, MassStorage etc. So or neither should work or all should work...
  6. I see DigeratiPrime is already quite active on the wiki He has added several applications to the application switches database!
  7. hehe.... I was going to download these tonight... if I didn't have this summer job, I'd be faster than you! Darn!
  8. Please post your HWIDs, using my little tool save_hwids.exe, so can verify your HWID has been included...
  9. Good job! P.S.: how long did it take to get your files verified there? At tucows it takes MONTHS.
  10. WARNING It seems that my host is moving me to a new server, unfortunately he did not warn me... This should be the last time: this new server is in a 'much better datacenter, here it will be able to resist DoS attacks better'. If he doesn't meet his promise this time, I WILL switch. I have absolutely no clue when everything will be online again, but I guess that should be within 24 hours, (DNS update) if all goes well.
  11. hehe nice one Now I can verify what my brother is hiding sometimes! hehehehe... <sneakymodus="active">

  14. Then retry without doing that.
  15. Did you modify DriverPack Sound A? Or something in the DriverPacks BASE? EDIT: I'm asking this because Realtek's HD audio needs the KB888111 hotfix to be installed.
  16. Did you use RyanVM's UpdatePack?
  17. The hwid you see here is when im in windows with OLD slipstream, ( the 1 you mailed me) With newer versions setup starts..hangs a very long time at T-30 then when it reboots (and normal starts runonce) i get a BSOD. When i use older version like i said the one you mailed me, works FINEEEE So i dont know why you say im telling crap.... YOUR PACK WORKS FINE HERE ONLY NOT THE NEWER VERSIONS !! ← Just to exclude all other possibilities: please use a vanilla Windows XP, don't slipstream ANYTHING, only DriverPack MassStorage and let me know the result.
  18. Could you please post your hwids, using my little tool save_hwids.exe. Please attach your hwids.txt.
  19. An update should be online tonight.
  20. CRAP CRAP CRAP Why is this happening? :s I'll check AGAIN for differences... Your HWID is really only entered ONCE in the txtsetup.sif file so that cannot be the cause.... @Ghostrider: could you please check your Windows installation if the KB888111 hotfix has been installed? Are you using RyanVM's updatepack? The problem with the onboard LAN might be solved by a newer driver: checking for a newer version. EDIT: are you sure those drivers didn't install? There are NO newer drivers available for Intel's networking adapters. Also I see this in your report: [ Network adapters / Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection ] Device Properties: Driver Description Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection Driver Date 10/02/2004 Driver Version 7.1.12.0 Driver Provider Intel INF File oem8.inf Hardware ID PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1064&SUBSYS_80F81043&REV_03 PCI Device Intel ICH6 PRO/100 VE Network Connection [ Sound, video and game controllers / Realtek High Definition Audio ] Device Properties: Driver Description Realtek High Definition Audio Driver Date 13/12/2004 Driver Version 5.10.0.5038 Driver Provider Realtek Semiconductor Corp. INF File oem7.inf Hardware ID HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0880&SUBSYS_08800000&REV_0905 So I repeat, are you sure those drivers didn't install?
  21. @MAVERICKS CHOICE: simple: it's hardcoded in each DPs BASE, that's why. I should make it dynamic again... Since the DriverPacks BASE is getting stable that's necessary. @cybpsych: because almost everyone runs the DriverPacks BASE again... but I'll do that from now on
  22. Great work BTS It looks better than unattended.msfn.net (white background, nice font, in one word : "the professional touch") <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Man...now everyone is going to think i was copying you Bashrat.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'll make a big banner on it, saying: "Alanoll is not copying this site!", ok? ;-)
