  1. It would be for everyone.
  2. a) MassStorage: nearly always run the BASE B) Chipset, Graphics A+B, Sound A+B: sometimes run the BASE c) CPU, LAN, WLAN: never run the BASE It's very logical: a) has very often updated changes for txtsetup.sif/dosnet.inf, B) has the Intel Inf drivers and control panels, which are also updated sometimes, c) no extra entries whatsoever: just copy/paste.
  3. hehe... thank you Less work for me, thus faster update
  4. Also that is already on the future features list
  5. I've just got an idea that might solve your problem. I'll post a fix - only for you - tonight (I have to leave for work in a few minutes...).
  6. @RogueSpear: I *KNEW* you would change your mind someday . And that's what I've been saying from the beginning: is some cases not everything will get extracted in time... I'm glad you too are using method 2 now
  7. Nope. Just replace it, as you suggest.

Download
  9. I just made a small utility that does 'all the hard work' for you: save_hwids.exe. Just post the hwids.txt that it gives as output. I can handle it from there.
  10. @cut & JrDave2304: the HWID is not included in those reports... they're not useful, sorry. Please check the properties of the 'storage' section or something alike to find it. => that is what I need
  11. hehe They solved the WHQL problem of the 77.72 drivers Check it. I'll update DriverPack Graphics A tonight with fixed ATI drivers and updated nVidia drivers!
  12. But how do you get it exactly the way that it 'fits' the things behind the screen?
  13. Martin, I was planning that for some time now Good to know that I'm not the only one with this idea! hehe... exactly my idea As a 'sneak preview' (sort of , not anymore with this post...), check here BTSunattended.net's uAwiki. This sounds as spam, but it is not... I wasn't planning on 'revealing' it until I had added a decent amount of tutorials. Though there are quite alot of switches already included! Please let me know if you like it and whether you want to extend or... feel free to suggest
  14. All of these, and more, are planned for the future
  15. BTS DriverPack MassStorage V5.07.1 Supported devices. Changelog: V5.07.1 (06 Jul 05) -Updated: Silicon Image SiI 3112/3512 (non-RAID) from 10/10/2003, 1.1.0.53 to 06/14/2004, 1.2.0.57. Download
  16. BTS DriverPacks BASE V5.07.3 Changelog: V5.07.3 (06 Jul 05) -Updated: [DPB] 7za.exe from 4.23 to 4.24b. -Fixed: [DPM] slipstream_DPM.cmd: fixed the problem with one (probably multiple) Silicon Image 3512 SATALink controller, by adding support for the updated driver in the updated DriverPack MassStorage (DP MassStorage V5.07.1). -Fixed: [DPM] slipstream_DPM.cmd: added a specific HWID for ABIT KV-80's VIA VT8237 controller, that uses the viamraid driver. Known issues -Bug|non-critical: [DPB] all methods: in winnt.sif: if a section is being updated with new and/or updated entries, it will add a new section if the cases of the sectionname aren't identical. -To-do [DPM]: the Promise misery... making a driver of myself would be the only 'easy' and 'painless' way to solve it. @Siginet: hehe... I know, I have to clean it up. But when it IS cleaned up, I have to clean it again in 2 weeks... it's a work without an end... I haven't received any mail from you. You can find one in my profile, and that is the same e-mail address that I use for MSN. BTW, ATM there aren't any text editing issues!

  18. Will be fixed in V5.07.3 of the DPs BASE, which will be avaible in a couple of minutes.
  19. @DigeratiPrime: could the problem be the fact that you're installing onto Media Center Edition? @mark49: ... :| it seems that somehow, I really don't understand how, the wrong files ended up on this disc... I'll post an updated DriverPack Graphics A tomorrow, right now I'm EXHAUSTED! :'(
