  1. Explain that codename, please! "kala" --> absolutely no clue "nuhi" --> where did I see that name before? "kala"+"nuhi"="kalanuhi"=?
  2. hehe lucky me that I didn't have the time to update it An updated version should be online in a couple of hours. EDIT: P.S.: ... though the update WAS finished. (It was obviously not much work )
  3. Wrong forum. Moved to 'Hardware Hangout'.
  4. **** Siginet, you're probably doing a marvellous job, but still I haven't tried your tool! I *should* Just to let you know that I'm very curious to test it, and I'll do it certainly when I find enough time to play with it
  5. If you're using a network installation, that means you probably are an administrator of a corporate network of Windows PC's. That brings me to the following question: why would you need KtD (Keep the Drivers) if you are maintaining such a network? Would you ever upgrade those PC's hardware anyway? IMO this is quite useless in your case.
  6. hehe, I'll add an article to uAwiki about this one sometime in the future
  7. As you may not know yet, I've just gotten myself very reliable, fast and very affordable new hosting, with 300GB of bandwidth. The main server will be upgraded to an additional 40GB, while I have 3 other "unlimited but limited by FUP" servers in my options list. Though this is not a huge project (at least in the sense of "huge target public"), nor is it very commercial, but still I would like to pay what I should pay. About a year ago I bought a license for that DHTML menu you can see on my website. It was very expensive (about 60EUR, for just a DHTML menu!), but I considered this my duty. You can find this strange, but I also consider it my duty to pay the costs for downloading my DriverPacks. AND I still tend to use regular 'download systems': the DriverPacks is not used by many thousands (though still more than thousand at least), so download speeds using p2p networks would be rathers slow. Additionally, this isn't very professional IMO - just not yet. I know I know, my project isn't very professional either, but still I want to give it a rather solid & professional "look 'n feel" (I just can't find the right word ). Probably I've even forgot several arguments, but... this is all for now, folks P.S.: so for now, the answer is: "rather not...".
  8. Yes, sorry I've been very busy the last 2 days. I've added it to my todo list (and gave it high priority).
  9. Sorry for the delay. I've been very busy the last 2 days. Several updates should follow tonight or tomorrow evening.
  10. Wrong forum. Moved to Device Drivers.
  11. This has been requested before and I wanted to add it to a 'specials' pack. But you're right, it should be in DP MassStorage (as some others (may) have already suggested too). This will be included in the next DP MassStorage update!
  12. Hmmm.... Please add me to your MSN contacts. This weekend my summer job ends (at least for one month), so I'll have more time. We ***HAVE*** to solve this problem!
  13. It should see it as two separate CPU's.
  14. Also a "negative" from my side. I agree with the others: if I would want it, I could simply include it myself. For the most of us it would just be something unused, that increases the download size.
  15. What's the difference??? EDIT: I understand now You mean two different instances of a likewise-named executable.... stupid me!
  16. Hmm... very interesting IMO. I had never heard of this 'SLP' mechanism before. Count me in. I'll help where I can. (Though I may not have much time: summer job + DriverPacks + others = not much time...)
  17. That's why I offered this in the first place! I was scared to death!
  18. BTS, this new driver also include new IDE(SATA)driver m5281.sys ← And probably also new ethernet & sound drivers... I know . EDIT: nope, ethernet & sound are NOT updated... since a loooooong time (ethernet: not since 2003, sound: not since 2004...)
  19. I'll put an updated version of DriverPack Chipset online tonight!
  20. It would help if you'd say on which mobo that is... This information isn't very useful...
  21. THE best, without a doubt the Logitech Z-5500. Maybe you could raise your budget a little bit and get yourself the Logitech Z-2300? Those speakers are also extremely good.
  22. Media Player Classic.
  23. That's correct, otherwise you'd have the %SystemDrive% of the Windows from where you're slipstreaming the DriverPacks. i.e.: example 1 _________ input ECHO %SystemDrive% output C:\ example 2 _________ input ECHO %%SystemDrive%% output %SystemDrive%
  24. 1. Disconnect your network cable(s) and retry. 2. Are you installing through winnt.exe/winnt32.exe?
  25. First WMP, then DriverPacks...
