  1. I know I know, that's what's so strange about all this... It's not your mistake... Maybe just a bug? I'll submit it (That would be the second bug I found in a major technology's firm driver )
  2. I agree with htc, how did you slipstream it into WinPE? Topic moved to DriverPack MassStorage forum.
  3. First of all, please use PUNCTUATION MARKS next time!!! 1. It's normal indeed that that line isn't there yet. Just add it . 2. You should only list the folder you really have. The guide uses AN EXAMPLE. 3. You can use ANY name you want to use... You can even use 'Im_a_tanner' if you want to... You'll just have to point to 'Im_a_tanner' in your OemPnPDriversPath entry in the winnt.sif file then
  4. I've attached them, but these are the Dutch entries... (Though my Windows language is English... ) nVidia_Audio_Utility_Equalizer_reg_entries.reg
  5. @maniaq: yes that should work. @SilverHaze420: I'm VERY sorry I'm downloading them right now... I'll mail you again when I've finished downloading.
  6. Please rebuild your DVD with my DriverPacks only. If you still have the same problem then, we can be sure it's caused by the DriverPacks. This is an error I've never seen before.
  7. Thank you, that's VERY useful information
  8. ATI ---- -drivers are installed automatically (if necessary) -control panel: conditional installation: (I packed the CONTENTS of the CPanel folder in a 7zip archive named CPanel.exe) IF EXIST %SystemRoot%\system32\atioglxx.dll ( %path_to_%\CPanel.exe -y -o%SystemDrive%\Radeon_CPL START /WAIT %SystemDrive%\Radeon_CPL\Setup.exe /K RD /S /Q %SystemDrive%\Radeon_CPL ) nVidia ------- -both drivers AND control panel will be installed automatically (if necessary)
  9. Heh? I have a Hyundai Q17 (very good screen BTW) and I got an answer from their support almost immediately. They even sent me the drivers CD of their full scale of monitors! But that was Hyundai Germany (there is no Hyundai center in Belgium). Maybe that's different where you live... And no that driver is not on that disc... your monitor is too new for that. But are you very sure the drivers aren't the same? It really would amaze me if they're selling a product for which there are no drivers available :s
  10. Are these the only files left? Or is everything left? That's not very clear yet. Moved to DriverPack General Discussion Forum.
  11. There are no .cat files in the official 77.72 driver :s. Or is this only the case for the international driver???
  12. @mark49: support for these is already included @erik_demon: please link to the official nVidia page next time. I only download from there Some unofficial drivers were also WHQL!
  13. eh... both are working fine here :s
  14. Yes, I'm sure I've passed all of them
  15. Just to say... I'm BACK if($bashrat_the_sneaky = 'back'){ $finished_his_exams = 'true'; $behind_his_pc_in_an_almost_obsessive_way = 'true'; $expect_updates_soon = 'true'; }
  16. No you can't. That's been changed since V5.05.x. Just go through the slipstream process again!
  17. Please download the DriverPacks BASE That automates the txtsetup.sif editing and so on
  18. No need to use CAPITALS!!! Could you please tell me what the HWID is of your VT8237 controller? That will solve the problem
  19. Moved to Device Drivers. You shouldn't post this in the DriverPack MassStorage forum! It's meant for the DriverPack MassStorage only! (That's a project...)
  20. techxp, thanks for your reply. I think many share your opinion. This open/free model will remain, as said earlier. Though I would like to lift it up to a more complete and professional level as it is now. I think you agree with me if I say that a) home users use the DriverPacks because of its simplicity and B) professional users use the DriverPacks because of their diversity. Well a) and B) will be improved, that means: even more simplicity for home users (comparable with nLite's simplicity, if you want a reference), while at the same time providing a more professional application: a broader scale of device drivers, more installation methods supported (e.g. RIS) and of course a more reliable integration (slipstreaming) process. The differences between home and professional versions are yet to be determined. And last but not least: why would I even think of making this change, if everything is running so well? ('well' in terms of user response and popularity ) The answer is simple: as you may know or not, I'm a perfectionist: I don't like delivering half work (though I have to at the current status of the project), which is why I want to improve it to my best capabilities. I wish it were so, but I'm not a millionaire or someone with rich family - if I were I'd keep it 200% free, I'd even not take donations. My point is: if I want to improve this project any further, I need to get something in return besides user response, to make it possible to improve it even beyond your wildest dreams (maybe you dream about it, I don't know... ), that means: I'll have to ask some money for it. But in return, you'll receive a much completer, stabler and an easy-to-use product. Of course this is alot of work to do on my own, which is why djbe and I will be collaborating. And last but not least, I repeat: The differences between home and professional versions are yet to be determined.
  21. Moved to Unattended Windows forum .
  22. Well, you still posted in the wrong forum... You should have posted this in the 'Device Drivers' forum, as your question isn't related in any way to my DriverPacks... Secondly, 'countless hours searching on google'? WTF... I found it in 11.5 seconds using google. Tip: if you don't find through google, then try to find the vendor's site You can download the Hyundai Imagequest L90D/L90D+ drivers from their site... Topic moved to Device Drivers forum.
  23. Tell me to which e-mail address I should send it. I have back-ups of EVERY version that ever has been released @Toolman: it seems there are some problems indeed. In 3 days I'll have more time: then I'll test everything in detail! @muiz: could you please tell me WHICH 3512 controller (its HWID please) you have? Thanks @mextrom: please use another method for now. As said earlier, in 3 days I'll have enough time to test everything very intensively. @Gouki: no changes to the installation process. @erik_demon: 1) thx, fixed 2) was already reported, already fixed 3) that's because of a lack of time, stated that in the first post of this topic.
  24. 1-3: I'll investigate that when my exams are finished. Noted it down. 4: This is a known problem for Windows XP SP2. Not my mistake. 5: eh... first time ever I hear this... might be caused by 1-3 or 4 6: (M3 stuff) possible, I didn't have the time to test it... Will be fixed after my exams. Though I don't think anyone else is having so much trouble with it?
  25. Eh... a06lp? Is that you? You MUST be kidding: a) you opened a thread that hasn't been posted in for more than half a year and B) you're asking an extremely silly question :s
