  1. Was that an early morning? Maybe your rig was still sleepy...
  2. Actually not all letters are capitals. Still spelled nVIDIA.
  3. I'd go for nVIDIA, better driver support, no bloatware as in ATI's Catalyst... But that's only my 2 cents.
  4. It's still beta!
  5. I've got the same scenario already up and running. DHCP enabled based on the physical adresses (MAC) of the other computers (reservations) so the server will always assign the same IP to a certain pc.
  6. Thought so...
  7. Or click Start -----> Run ------> type Winver then hit OK.
  8. That would involve removing and disassembling the drive and as I see it's still covered by warranty, I guess it's better to get hold of a Lens Cleaning CD.
  9. Some people just like to be fashionable... Latest OS, latest versions of apps, etc... I think it's just a matter of personality. As I said in other posts, I'll just stick to XP until Vista will have had most of its holes plugged and that's not going to be anywhere in the near future.
  10. Have you tries looking up that error code on google???
  11. It looks like the lens is dirty or there is some hardware fault. Try cleaning the lens first and see if it helps. If not, I guess it's time to get a new drive. WOOT!!! My 500th post!
  12. I got it when i was 6. Back in 1980!!!! Present from my dad.
  13. Way to go!!!
  14. W2k3 server Web Edition will suffice. Why not running it on Linux?
  15. How do you do that???
  16. GEEEEEZZZZ!!!!
  17. I'll just stick to xp with Vista GUI. It's been out there for so long and still has many holes in it. Just imagine how many holes Vistal will have at first release, especially that it is being rushed to meet the deadline M$ has set for it.
  18. Even if it doesn't present you with the option to format, it will format the drives on its own. Back-up your data anyway.
  19. That is my guess too. Or maybe the graphics card isn't properly seated or there's a lot of dust around the card and its slot.
  20. I agree. Strip symantec off you computer and you'll be amazed how fast it can run!
  21. Found the way. Here it is. Maybe someone will find this useful.
  22. Deleted... Sorry, wrong thread.
  23. INDEED!!!
  24. I'm known to shift my mood very quickly, so: nitrous oxide ----> nitro shift ----> shift
  25. You've GOT to be kidding me... I even have my meals brought to me and you wanna know if I can do those... I've given up my former job 'cause it was too far from home, now I only have to walk 100 meters to get in the office
