I looked at the printscreens and I'm concerned about the system memory giving an error while being scanned. It says the kernel module is (probably) faulty (couldn't see it in the picture) so I assume there's something wrong with your windows installation. Has it worked before? When did it start to give errors? What have you installed after running normally and errors starting up? Is your copy of windows legit? Have you slimmed it with nlite?

Are your mouse and keyboard on USB?

Have you paid for that copy of windows xp? If you did and found out later that it was pirated, go back to the shop where you changed the mobo and ask for a refund or a genuine copy of windows xp. Don't think you can upgrade from a pirated version of xp to a licensed version of vista as it may check the xp install key (as sp2 of xp does).

That's interesting. While I was running 64-bit XP I never came across this situation. Here's what I'd suggest you to do: scan your pc for viruses / malware and come back with the results. Good luck disinfecting!

Were you running XP? Then copy the outlook.pst file located on the old drive in C:\Documents and Settings\****\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook and paste it in the same location on the new hard drive. Please note that **** stands for the username you log on with.

I never used xp home, so I can't tell you that. But i Know that xp pro has a limit of 10 connections.

1. Yes, you can play all games from XP on MCE. 2. No, there is no limit (apart from being unable to join a domain).

I've got my hdd cooled as shown in the picture. Never went above 45 degrees centigrades. It's a WD 120GB 7200 / 8MB S-ATA drive.

Another vote for Paragon here. Although I use both Paragon AND Norton Ghost.

If you upgraded to sp2 it will show in the add/remove programs list, so you can uninstall it from there, restart and reinstall it.
