I agree here with TAiN and LLXX. ISP's are trying to service their networks when (they think) the network is least loaded. -

You mean crash as in BSOD, system halt or unresponsive?

You get that error when tryin to start up a service or shut it down? If it's the latter, use unlocker.

Does it work? Leave it as it is, although if the mobo has the 4-pin connection, it's there for a purpose, i.e. to plug the power connector from the PSU
