i don't know any indivudual apps just to do this but many xp tweak programs do that ie winxp manager also they're in registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

u're asking if jdeboeck's removal files work with xp home right? most of them work. some of them work partially. i had posted the home version of remove.zip back a while ago. either search for it or i'll try to dig it out. i'm not sure where it is though. some things that differ: windows tour files are different in home that's all i can remember. I switched to pro for full compatibility with msfn forums edit: and yea I feel like an id***. though i just understood what u meant by personal edition. I was thinking more like home version. anyways the remove.zip is designed for sp1. will not work in sp2. u'll probably get errors. if u check another thread that jdeboeck started u'll be able to see that author(jdeboeck) is already working on a sp2 version.!!!!!!! hi there I just wanted to install my printer drivers which i had not installed through winnt.sif its a lexmark x83 aio i've the latest firmware & latest xp drivers. i'm running webinstall.exe (which i had been doing) and it gives me an error "failed to launch setup" what am i supposed to do???? its not a web install.. HELP HELP I tried to install the driver manually, it doesn't like it. it says this inf file doesn't have any info on your product but the hardware id's match perfecly? is xp sp2 playing me?

well okay when u use ork tools first thing it asks u is the license key. maybe make another one go through the steps 1 by 1.

@cubie ppl are just saying why make another one where there is already a good working one. and u seemed to be going the same path as in reading from xml etc. also i think c++ is more functional than vb. ppl' needs are already covered in xplode. it can run from network accepts switches can copy/move dirs/files etc. so u're going to be doing mostly the same thing. well i'm not saying u shouldn't do it simply bc having a variety is always good. I mean look at different programs say for picture viewer. many many many of them. most do the same thing, though have little differences and easier ease of use etc. go for it....

windows has a built-in fax program go to add/remove programs then go to add/remove windows components u should see fax in there I've never heard of converting a hardware to another hardware !!!

i used to have a vbs for changing drive letters, someone had made it, i don't know where it is. its surely on the forum though..

Hi there I've been working on making a msi installer for winamp 5.0.3 even with px.dll there will be a config.ini file where things like video_support=1 audio_support=0 will exist. i've done the msi, working on the ini system. I'll hopefully be done latest on the weekend if nullsoft decides to release another build by then i'll mass email them saying get rid of the stupid nullsoft installer and use windows installer! (i'm pretty sure someone did this but anyways ) also there must be some nice switches out there for the components. anyone check the nullsoft forum? my internet is so slow i can barely open msfn. thank god its on the cache would anyone be interested in this? i mean if no one wants it, i use the very basic winamp without the new modern skin and other junk stuff, so this would be very pointless for me in no one wants it. Thanks. (short live nullsoft installer :/ )

after silent install when u first run wmp it should ask u for which extentions u want. and other stuff like, agree to eula etc. not sure about this ---=> part if u didn't see that confirmation window u probably added more switch to it or something and u might be needing to add those associations with reg. what other music/movie program did u install? maybe they fought for associations and at the end it was a draw and none of them wanted the associations (so fair play won )
