hi there I don't have an answer but having 3 errors seems like a major problem doesn't it? what did u do to your comp prior to ending up like this? virus? spyware? u failed install of a program? or easy as registering a dll? seems like a serious problem, check your registry for errors. check for all stuff like that, if fails go to recovery and overwrite your current xp install....

Hi there I'm looking for a software that'll allow me to download files directly to my ftp (my ftp is not at my home its on a webserver....so I don't want to have an apache server running on my comp, that's not what i want. ) are there any programs like this? this would same me so much time... ow just to make sure I don't want ftp to ftp, i'm interested in http to ftp

yes u can do all of them 1 thing that won't work is the drivers.. since virtual pc uses its own hardware....

is this any faster then the previous releases? I just tried 6.0.3 and it was so **** slow I switched back to 5.

hmm okay 2 things u can do 1st uninstall the drive. (go to hardware properties and find the hdd and right click uninstall) then go to view and "show hidden deviced" see if u have any other entries of your hdd if found delete, restart.. 2nd go to regedit then go to find your hdd and remove the registry entry of it after a restart it should find your hdd and everything should be fine but b4 doing this search in kb articles of microsoft. they've something for it I know...

for me still LCD bc I lack the space on my desk and I need something big, why? because i don't buy a LCD everyday and won't be buying another one for another 3-5 years unless the bigger LCD's are sooo much cheaper. and with HDD, they're pretty cheap thesedays. u can always get another one if u want. and hdd is something that is updated more often, u can get 10,000rpm these days about months ago only option was scsi, now ide supports it. next year we might have 15,000 (that'd be lovely )

in short go to run type diskmgmt.msc

easiest way i'd say is to export your current registry (if u like the way they are right now) then import them when setup'ing so go to these values in your regedit

well yes all the updates 1 comp using xp sp2 rtm 1 comp using xp sp2 2096 i've used that reg and some other tweaks, I'm not sure but they're working right now. but it might just be a lucky hour of the day...

dunno but try defragging your hdd defragging your registry check for problems in your registry (registry first aid..) check for running processes.. those can slow down the computer. for dma I don't think so.

for asus mb's there are nice utilities that run from windows. dl it run it from windows and it'll do neccessary things at restart.. i don't use floppy anymore!! also even if u have a upgrade xp cd u can install fresh xp, u don't have to install 98 then xp.

no u can just export 1 key at a time if u want here nvidia stuff are probably under these keys (probably current user is a better guess) also u can export your profiles to disk

export your settings from regedit does the trick... ow btw there is only 1 that's been posted, those 2 are the same, only a line break has been placed after "con" if u remove the u'll be fine. the value inside it doesn't really matter since there is only 1 value..
