np I wish I could have helped. heh wait maybe your post.bat isn't in %systemdrive%\ maybe its somewhere else? I think in order to be using %systemdrive%\ u've to point the oem folder to root of systemdrive. so maybe its in another problem which u're used to going in and bc of the u didn't realize it? hmm doubt that, i read your 1st post again, but I'm not deleting this bc u know might be a careless mistake? good luck with 100+ (bloody setup, should be easier to handle!)

Hi there somedays I cannot open specific pages, but I most often can open msfn.org how can I find what the problem is? I think its bc of the dns or something but I'm not quite sure. would this be caused by something on my comp? on my router? (my other computer cannot open those sites as well..) for example as of now I cannot reach www.yahoo.com I can ping it but neither ie nor opera opens it. it doesn't even load, I type the address click okay then in miliseconds I see the "page cannot be displayed" problem my firewalls are disabled any ideas?/suggestions?/ THanks edit: I tried it with another site. I first wasn't even able to ping it. it'd say no host or something. then minutes later I was able to ping but the website won't open. I typed the ip of the webpage it won't open ??? there was a page to check the dns what was that? futhermore I can open http://www.doom9.org but I cannot open http://forum.doom9.org/

1st advice use titles that actually means something and briefly explains your problem... so avoid help, do u know what'd happen if everyone was to title their problems help? try an updated driver, i also use soundmax integrated no problems so far.. install the chipset drivers as well. and check if u've accidentially clicked on mute button....

well if u can open 2 ym's at the same time u could if u cannot try this: create another user and right click on the yahoo messengers' main exe and select start as another user, that should do it, but I forgot the registry tweak to enable this option, sorry.... or if u can open 2 at the same time try using a proxy

hmm wierd I'm speechless. 1 thing that maybe preventing this is bc u've this and this one adds it self to runoce as well as the stuff in so it might be that this new one overwrites the other runonce value??? so maybe use the add title stuff to append the lgfonts.bat to the end of runonce, u know like this: and after this I'd assume everthing is gonna be okay and instead of adding another bat why don't u add the fonts stuff in the other bat? so put the contents of the c:\\WINNT\\lgfonts.bat into post.bat and save yourself and windows from processing 1 more...

@prathapml yep I saw that didn't have time to go through, but i still think instead of trying to save the pages with lots of not registry related chatting the collection might be time saving.... and erm why don't u guys change your forum defaults to 30 threads or more? Hi there I know the title sounds funny but I don't know how to express it easily here's what I'm trying to accomplish. this is going to be in a web page: so there are going to be bunch of links and when the user clicks on 1 of them a box underneath it will appear, and all the links below it will be scrolling down. now how can I accomplish this? I also would like to be able to define the size of the box... Thanks

until someone makes a nice page with registry tweaks there are very good pages in the internet. but if its gonna help i might try to make all those reg's a little bit more organized. I can start tomorrow. but it'll take a loooong time. DOWNLAOD ALL THE REGISTRY TWEAKS HERE

I dunno but 1 thing I know is u could have just said it stays on the desktop or something, u didn't really have to post the desktop screenshot right? what's in your post.bat and reg tweaks? maybe u're missing something? can u post them in an attachment? also u know that u've set the number of auto login's to 1 so it will only auto login once.... after that it'll prompt u for password....

do u have any reg tweaks? maybe u also have an autologin reg hack and bc the password or the username doesn't match it doesn't allow u to login automatically...

first of all you need to download "reshack" then go to your windows cd. locate where winnt_bbu.dl_ is copy that to a folder of your choice (for example c:\setupscreen\) open command prompt (type cmd at run) go to c:\setupscreen folder, to do thattype cd\ to get to root of c drive then type cd setupscreen now it should look like c:\setupscreen [*]then you need to extract the winnt_bbu.dl_ to obtain winnt_bbu.dll [*]to do that: expand -r winnt_bbu.dl_ you'll see that file in the folder. ?? simple I downloaded my messages that are in gmail to my outlook I had many attachments to save and going 1 by 1 was not a good idea so I had to dl them and use another program to save them to hdd.... is using pop that wierd to u????
