ok...i'm really stumped on this one.... in excel, word, powerpoint.... the office "Startup Task Pane" is always showing up.... i uncheck the Startup Task pane in the tools\option dialog... still, when i launch the program the Startup Task Pane still shows up... here are my specs... winxp sp2 fully patched office xp w/sp3 i have no group policy pushing out any settings of any.... also not importing any reg files for "tweakin"

if you move the mouse...the screensaver will not come on.

i take it this is a dvd video? or is this a data dvd?

um...have your friend ask her brother what the password is? and set it....

what type of network do you have? are you doing this at home? or at work with servers ect?

just put your logon script in the "%allusersprofile%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" folder

make sure your logon scripts are in the "netlogon" share of the server. then in properties box of the user in active directory, just type in then name of the login script.... ie.... logonscript.bat or logonscript.cmd

i'm running dual monitors...and sometimes i want to have both spreadsheets i'm working on both monitors.... to compare data... problem is.....i can't bring up the other spreadsheet up on the other monitor.... cause excel can only have 1 spreadsheet showing at one time.... any clues? btw...running office xp never mind...i figured it out....

turn off the dns client service and try that....

kill disk on that link provided... i have used in the past to wright 1's and 0's to the hd if i'm selling on e-bay

i think what cconk01 is gettin at is he wants to lockdown his puters where users can not connect to another wifi ap.... sounds like there are other ap's close to his work enviroment and users are connecting to those instead of the "correct" ap

do you have the cd copied to the external hard drive?

hmmm....i spent 20 secs to find this link for ya on the Toshiba site... link there you will find the downloads for your laptop model (Toshiba TE2000) as for the sp3 as mentioned...what can i say....NOT SUPPORTED HERE in this forum....you will not get any help!! reload your pc..with sp2
