  12. um...maybe he only has the oem home cd, maybe he isn't licensed for pro or a server os... maybe he likes to stay legal and not break the ms licensing so why don't u use some common sense...
  13. just recreate the folder....
  14. one word....google
  15. another reason why these forums are so frustrating.... no details... oem hardware or custom built pro or home edition using the orginal cd or not clean install or upgrade.... ect ect.......
  16. how about hooking up an internal floppy during your setup? then when your pc is all done installing....just yank out the floppy drive and hook it up to the next pc ...so on and so on.... during the setup...the windows cd looks for the winnt.sif on the floppy drive ..if the winnt.sif is not on the cd itself. if you try to hook up a usb key...that key will not be the a: drive but more than likely the e: drive or some other letter..... i would also look into cloning....like ghost you set up your master image....sysprep it..take a snapshot of the image and reclone it to the other computers..... you can reimage a pc in a matter of minutes with all the software...updates ect....
  17. cool...thanks guys

you have several choices here.... take out your hd and slave it to another pc and suck off the data you want. or ghost your hd and suck off the data you want with ghost explorer.. or you can create a bart pe cd and download this plugin http://sala.pri.ee/renew_1.1-BETA.cab create your cd with the plugin.... boot up the cd..and run the utility to reset your admin pwd.

first off...your topic subject is way offline... your topic subject should be "forgot password" or forgot admin password" (read the forum rules!) 2nd...can you logon to the pc at all? i would hope you just don't logon as the default "administrator" account. if you don't logon as the default "administrator" then you can reset the admin password through the "User accounts" in the control panel. or from the command prompt type this in... net user administrator * then type in the password of your choice.
  24. no..he's joking... why don't u answer his question?
  25. windows 3.1? wow
