do you have 2nd video card in? if so..take it out...or plug your monitor in it.... if you are running a dual monitor setup...the logon screen could be on the other monitor...you are not seeing cause you don't have a 2nd monitor...

if your computer belongs to a domain...then a group policy setting to hide that tab is probably pushed out to your computer.... we do that on our domain. contact your i.t. support

goto the add or remove programs applet find the Intel PROSet/Wireless Software click on Change/Remove make sure modify is selected click next the Pre-Logon Connect probably has a red x beside it click on the red x and choose install this feature click modify at the bottom and choose ok you will have to reboot

thanks for the reply...but the contacts in the user mailbox is not what i want...what i want is the global address book on the exchange server.. in outlook it is..tools\address book the address book does not pull from the contacts...but from active directory...ect...

is there a way to create a shortcut on the desktop to the outlook 2003 address book so users don't have to click on the address book in outlook...just a shortcut on the desktop or quick launch bar? our current setup is exchange server.... thanks in advance..

your 2nd puzzlement problem.... goto your folder options click on the view tab...scroll all the way down...and uncheck "Use check boxes to select items"

i've done it different ways.... servicetag for the pc as the pc name... or the persons name as the pc name.. what ever works for you...go with it...

mine is the ability to resize partitions on the fly (without rebooting) using the disk management mmc snapin
