XPero, great that you're still working on XPize! In 4.1 you didn't fix the timezone bitmap, someone posted a good one on this forum so I replaced it manually. It's good that you removed the battmeter because I use my own custom bitmap. IMO the famous red X only used a little retouch but you made a completely different icon, which I don't like that much because it is a bit small and shows that the file will be placed in the recycle bin, even if you bypassed the recycle bin (there is a setting for it in Windows). I like more the red X like in the toolbar of Windows Explorer. It's also good that the size of the installer is reduced. IMO you should not add cursors in the future. Most people use their own cursors. Personally I made Windows cursors out of the Silver theme for CursorXP. The Radix Phantasma cursor set also looks great with the Royale theme.

XPize only changes the icons, how could that make Windows Explorer crash?? I installed every version and never had problems.

Because than Media Center still starts in safe-mode. The recompiling isn't necesery, but if you add these registry things Media Center will start in normal mode.

Omega drivers are the best I think, current version is 2.6.61. Is Anti-Aliasing turned off in NFSU2? This often causes problems.

The 520MB version is not a disk image. It is just not compressed. Until now the downloads of Nero were always compressed. Unpacked it was not much smaller than Nero 7 or Roxio Easy Media Creator. It has indeed support for 26 languages in it but some things are always in English. I didn't found a lot of changes, it just looks better. InfoTool now displays wether your burner can handle HD-DVD or not but I don't know if Nero supports it. By the way, the serial-problem is solved.

What are you waiting for? EDIT Oh, I see. There seems to be a problem with serials not working.

Is it allowed to tell where you can find the leaked version of Nero 7 Premium?

Anyone already tried the leaked version? It's a large download, so I ask before I start.

Where do you see that it is a 909 MB image? It's only 888 MB or 909648 kB or 931479552 B. DAO means disc-at-once, don't ask me what it is but just burn the image using that method. You should be able to choose that before burning it with nero. Overburning is a setting in Nero Burning ROM. File | Preferences... | Expert Features. 888 MB is to much to burn on a 700 MB CD. Normally there only fits 730 - 740 MB on it. You will have to buy a 800 MB CD and overburn it or a 900 MB CD. I'm not sure wether the latter exists.

You have to disable the DX9 check and Media Center will run perfectly. It's not a driver thing, just install the latest drivers.

Thanks XPero, this project is great! Sorry, I don't like your batmeter, it's not easy with only 16 colors. But I modified the original windows batmeter so it looks a little bit better. The changes are not as drastic as yours, it's only a symplified version. For those who are interested: 300.bmp 301.bmp

I have the same Timezone bitmap. It moves if you chose another zone but the previous bitmap looked better.

You CAN upgrade to MCE 2005. You can simply buy XP MCE 2005, I like the fact that it's even cheeper than XP Pro. In my installation I can't find a label saying 2005 anywere, but you can recognize the version by components that are installed, like WMP 10, SP 2 and other things that were not availeble in 2002. MCE 2005 does NOT require special hardware features.

Is this the hard way to remove te pub? Just get the A-Patch or the MessPatch and you can easely modify about 50 things to make MSN Messenger suit your needs and taste.

It really is version 2005. They just overlooked to update it in System Properties.

Try Longhorn Inspirat BricoPack http://packs.bricomix.net/index.php?pack=10 I'm not very satisfied with StyleXP or Longhorn Transformation Pack but this one is really nice, although it changes not a lot of things. I have not tested it on x64.

ZA 4.5 is better than 5.0 but try 6.0, a lot of things have been fixed. Kaspersky provides a even better security but I would go for Anti-Virus Personal and perhaps Anti-Hacker but not the Personal Security Suite. There are trial versions of all these products.

Hi The icons for Internet Restrictions could also be XPized. @Cr4z33 The Royale 5 color mod is too buggy. I like Royale, also in different colors but this one is crap.

A boot cd for XP Pro will do. The first disk of Media Center Edition = Profesional. The SP2 cd would work because apart for the media center components it is exactly the same but Media Center Edition has already SP2 integrated so you don't need this cd.
