If setup askes for the 2nd cd means that you have a proper MCE product key. If you just get XP Pro SP2 after setup is becauce windows setup thinks you have no Media Center Computer. To make setup think you do have a proper system you have to ad before you upgrade the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA\MediaCenter and there you make a DWORD "Installed" with value "1".

XPize is not supposed to change the clock in the system tray but the clock in the Date & Time Properties. The white Longhorn style tray clock you can get by installing the program LClock.

Maybe you can offer this htm file as a separete download for some languages and that the XPize 4 Installer uses this external file to replace the default. I don't know if this can work, I'm not very good in software development but is't just an idea.

You CAN upgrade from Home or Pro to Media Center or Tablet PC. I did the upgrade from Home Edition SP2 in Dutch to Media Center Edition 2005 in Dutch and it works good. Before you upgrade you have to add in regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\system\WPA\MediaCenter , in this key you make a DWORD "Installed" with value "1". I found this out myself because if you first try to upgrade windows setup makes a file in c:\windows\ with the reason why it does not upgrade.

Sorry I asked for the battery icon, earlier you said that it is not possible as well as the icons in regedit. But the traffic lights in the disk quotum can use a change indeed. I'm amazed that you even xpized the icons in the status bar of internet explorer! A question: has the battery status icon in Windows 6.0.5048 finally changed? If so, I will install it.

I think this program rocks, thans a lot XPero! I'ts what I was looking to for years! Watch out that you don't exagerate with too much wallpapers etc. I also think the big icon in my computer properties is a bit too lets say colorful. I'm glad you made a separate theme for WinRAR. There are still some things I'd like to see changed, like the battery/power icon in the system tray and the energymeter, I have a laptop so it's there all the time, and the .NET Framework icons, but that's not very important. Can the battery icon have more than 3 different levels like it has now? If you know what I mean. Is it possible to make a boot screen with resolution 1024x768 and true colors? The clock replacement did not work for me, with neither v3.0, 3.1, 3.2 although I installed XPize with all options. I have Windows XP MCE 2005 in Dutch. It's all shown in the screenshot.
