  1. far as i gather so far, windows gets activated after the setup. the wpa.dbl file gets created after setup when wizzard takes you through to activate, register, turn on firewall, username/s. So therefore the only way to copy that file in its rightful place is to be in safe mode. i cant think of any other way. most ideas i thaught of would be (unattended) in normal windows (not safe mode) sorry buddy
  2. wheres the point to this thread??
  3. i have found a wicked optimization proggy called WinXP Manager but you'd have to pay to register. it does more than optimizes your pc you can scan and remove junk files and customize windows, enhance youre network, internet connections etc it does it my money well worth spent
  4. Hi Rachel_ as for your answer to your question for Quicktime you can try their homepage to download a trial copy or you can purchace the pro version, if you have credit card but i think they are only letting ppl download 7.0 for Windows XP, in which is not what youre looking for.
  5. I'm against Warez downloads. I hate ppl ripping off companies. i baught my licenced copies from day 1 when windows 95, 98, me, 2000, xp home and pro, 2003 server, now 2002 mce and 2005. once again i dont and will not download copies of illegal software on my system. i'll laugh at ppl who do for when they get caught. this was just a question because i tried to ask the right people and they had sent me around bush and didnt answer my question. now when i ask here everyone trys telling me that i steal software!!!
  6. I baught windows MCE 2002 & 2005. I installed 2005 on a clean HDD. They keep on sending to dingo whoop whoop. the 2 original cdkeys i have for both 2002 nd 2005 are different to each other i just dont understand y 2005 is appearing as 2002. which now i have 2 mce 2002 but 1 says 2005 can anyone help me? microsoft dosnt want to

  9. hi all. i got a few questions. i did search for them and didnt find what i was looking for. 1. does anyone know y u cant edit the original x64 bit winntbbu.dll? 2. is there an anti virus compatible with x64 bit? i was told that there is a beta virus scanner, and was told it is recommended to wait for known virus scanner companys (such as mcafee, norton) to update their software which could be up to 3 - 6 months time
  10. usually the winntbbu.dl_ and winntbbu.dll files are on the setup cd in the i386 folder i hope this helps i have windows media center 2002. i was able to make my windows unattended with my customised winntbbu.dll
