theres nothing wrong with mixing ram, just the higher speed ram will run at the lower speeds.

You Dont, frontpage only has very limited functionality, it can do Html, Css and probably abit of javascript ( not entirely sure about these as i wouldnt ever dream of using frontpage/dreamweaver )

DX10 will not be released on XP, Micro$haft are instead making some improvements in DX9 and will most likely be putting the new version into the service pack.

not all ppl , mainly ppl that have got factory overclocked ones, Particularly the evga ones. havent heard anything bad about the XFX or Gainward ones at all.

ok u will need to get some connectors. These are kind of what your looking for , just a few more connectors seeing as u most likely have a 5.1+ sound card You should have an AUX on your stereo , once you have the pc plugged into the AUX plugs on theback of the stereo u just switch to AUX mode then all sound will go through your stereo speakers, Hopefully you have enough speaker connectors on it so you can plug in individual speakers, eg 1 for left 1 for right 1 for sub 2 for surround etc etc. Its kind of hard to explain, if i get time ill knock up a quick image of what i mean in photoshop.

Your going to need to put an amp between ur pc and sub then, I currently have mine hooked upto my stereo which i then have 2x400w floorstanders, 1x200w sub, 4x50w surround.

Agreed, Biggest load of bloatware you can find, there is very little improvement in terms of functionality, all they have focused on is trying to make it look as pretty as possible, If it werent for the fact that ppl are going to have to use it to play all the latest DX10 games i wouldnt ever bother buying it. I certainly wont be buying when it is first launched anyway as thats just plain suicide, only the complete noob m$ fanboys will be doing that.

All the cards will run Vista, Just that for some of the fancy features of Vistas GUI it will require a DX10 card, any of the cards mentioned are worth buying as they will all give u great performance up until DX10 cards come out.

None of the current cards will be able to run "pure" DX10 games, you will have to buy a whole new card for it. luckily game makers will either make a specific DX10 and DX9 versions of the game or addin some way that their games can run using older DX9 API Do remember that DX10 is vista only, so you would have to shell out money for Micro$hafts new junk first, then get a card, then wait for the games to be released. A top of the line DX9 card should last you atleas another 1 1/2 years anyway
